Tobirama's POV

She could not believe what was happening. She felt angry and betrayed and...resigned, because she understood. She knew why this had to be done.

The war between the Senju and the Uchiha has been going on for a long time, but it would seem a few visiting dignitaries from the Water country got caught up and killed in the crossfire. The Daimao had had enough. He had ordered the clans to resolve this and what better then by the way of marriage.
Yes, marriage, between the hair of the Uchiha, Uchiha Madara and her, Senju Tobirama, the eldest daughter of the Senju clan head. It seemed preposterous to think the two clans would unite and unite in such a way. That she would marry Madara of all people but that is what is going to happen. In 2 weeks time, she would be bound to that man for the rest of their lives (though she may not like him she would stay loyal).
They are going to perform a mix of both the clan's marriage rituals, the ones they find that just cannot be ignored, she just hoped it would turn out to be bearable at the very least, what with their fathers negotiating... thinking again, she may be asking too much after all.

Third person POV

The sun's bright rays shine on the sleeping figure on the futon, casting a hallow around the silvery pool of hair.
The figure slowly opens their eyes only to groan as they remember the events of the past few days. Tobirama Senju was, rightfully not amused with the turn of events. Today was the day she was to 'officially' meet her betrothed. As if they hadn't clashed and tried to kill each other on the battlefield before. She didnt understand what the fuss was about, but Hashirama had been, no is eager for this, this was after all the marriage of his beloved sister (and only remaining sibling) and best friend's wedding they would be organising. As much as she doesn't want to be a part of this, she would for the sake of her Anija, be there at least.
Though wanting to get back to sleep, Tobirama got up and started getting ready for the day. Not much really just the morning rituals, it would be a cold day in hell when she willingly dolled up for anything. She dressed in a casual grayish black hakama and white haori, put her hair in a ponytail and went out to face the day.
She received greetings from all she came across along with looks of sympathy which she hated, holding her head high she just grunted back as reply. Tobirama felt her brother just outside the compound gates and followed his chakra signature there.
Hashirama was standing tall and strong as the trees he used. Giving orders (more like making requests) for the preparation of today's meeting most likely. Upon seeing Tobirama, he gave her the biggest smile and came to hug her. "Sister, good morning." He bellowed and she winced, "Anija, let go..." though her complain held more fond regnisating then actual aversion. Hashieama knew it too and just squeezed her once more before loosening his hold, though not letting go entirely.

"Tobi are you ready for today's meeting sister. What will you be wearing? Ohh!! I know whu dont you wear that purple kimono that mother had gotten for you, she said she was preserving it for your wedding, but since we agreed on Uchiha traditions on this one, you can wear it now.. I'll help you-"

"Anija! Stop. I'm good as I am, and I will not need your help as I won't-"

"Because you can't wear your own cloths properly let alone help your sister. I will be the one who dresses up my dear little cousin. Isn't that right, Tobi." Toka said, appearing around the corner. She draped her arm around Tobirama's shoulders and leaned in, in a sort of half hug. Tobirama scowled. "I won't be wearing a kimono of all things just please that Uchiha bastard. And so nither of you will be helping me."

"Tobi! You have to, or else father would be angry and then he would scold you, then you will be angry and in a sour mood for who knows how long, so you will wear a kimono and that's final." exclaimed Hashirama. Knowing, that wont be enough to satisfy her little cousin, Toka tried another method, "I know that you don't want to. I'm not fond of the idea of dressing you up for a Uchiha to ogle at either. But it has to be done. If not for them think of it as your mother's wish. Had she been here, she would have been so enthusiastic, getting you lots of dresses and what nots. Come on, for her, Tobi...." she implored.
