The day had come. Tobirama sat her stool in front of the mirror, Mito was getting her ready for the wedding. Her hair was done in a incarnate updo, looking like multiple flowers blooming without having a clear outline, her mother's pearls woven in and around the silvery silken strands, with a few aurora-blue pins holding the whole set together, sparkling in the lights. She had to admit, Mito had outdone herself. With Toka's help they had made her look stunning, not that she wasn't beautiful as it is. But Tobirama isn't exactly known for dressing up and making herself 'pretty'.

"You look beautiful." Mito, her sweet, sweet sister-in-law said in a teary voice. She considered Tobirama as her own little sister and now, she was going to be married away today. Sure the construction of the new village will begin within the week and they would be close again but it will be different from having her little sister right beside her in the same house. She would be Madara's wife. He would have more right to her then anyone else, even her own father...even her brother and Mito. The thought made a lump firm in her throat. She didn't want this, she would admit it. She was scared. This is not something she was ever thought to handle. Since their mother died, Tobirama has been a good little soldier for her father, nothing more, nothing less. What with the war going on and death all around, marriage was the last thought on her mind. But here they were, getting married to the 'now-former-enemy', as the Daimao said.

Tobirama sighed. "Tobi, don't worry. Everything will be alright. No matter how far, we'll always be there for you. Never forget that, little sister." said Mito, seeing her downtrodden expression. "I know. Just..." she sighed again. Toka looked on understanding. Just as she went to say something Hashirama came barging through the door. "Tobirama..." he trailed off looking at his little sister, his only remaining sibling. "You look..I mean you look beautiful." He said a little unsteady. "Ohh! Oh my! Oh kami-sama! My little sister is getting married!" He exclaimed, looks like it finally hit him, so distracted with the coming of peace between their clans. His and his best friend's dream village will be on the way once the wedding was done. Hashirama looked ready to cry but Tobirama stood slowly, gracefully and took her brothers hands in hers, "Don't you go crying on me now, Anija." She said it with a soft smile, she only ever showed emotions in front of her three precious people. "Save it for when I will be leaving with Madara." She said it teasingly but she did not like the thought one bit. Leaving her clan and family, no matter for how little time it may be. Even then, she would live in the Uchiha compound and not the Senju land. Hashirama though whined, unaware of her thoughts. "Why would you say that?!! I don't want you to go. Wait! I know. I'll just ask Madara to..to-"

"To nothing. There's nothing more to be done at this point." Mito said calmly though the words didn't seemd to please herself either. Toka had a pinched look on her face like she didn't know what she wanted to do- kill all the Clan elders or take Tobirama and make a run for it. She did not like the idea at all. Leaving her baby cousin with the enemy. Even if they may not be so, years of set mentality took time to change, if it ever did. It was a long road ahead and her and Madara's union will open the path to peace. A path that will be more solid then anything that could ever have been.

But then Tobirama tensed and stood straighter. The others looked at her but then Mito felt it to and a few moments later Senju Batsuma walked in the door. Looking them all over his gaze settled on Tobirama, he had a weird expression in his eyes. Because shinobi never showed emotions on their face. He looked nostalgic almost, or maybe Tobirama just wanted to imagin that. Just for once, that her father felt something about all that was going around. Something except anger.
"The Uchiha are arriving. Go greet them at the compound boundry, Hashirama, Mito. Toka go see it that the Daimao is made comfortable. Inform us when the Uchiha are done with their before marriage rites. And when Tobirama is to be brought out. I will escort her." Batsuma ordered, making every one leave the room. Mito looked over Tobirama to see if everything was in place, no loose curls. Once satisfied she smiled at her sister-in-law and left the room as well.
