Loki had joined the avengers a few months back and had gone on a mission with them when the villain had hit Loki in the mind and was hypnotizing him to follow his orders, after they defeated the villain Wanda put him to sleep and they brought him back to the tower to the glass cage until he's no longer hypnotized, after awhile Loki is back to himself but the avengers still don't trust them but Danny came up with something and went into the glassy room and put it on Loki's wrist and lets him out and the avengers aren't happy about but he explains that it's a power device and that it stops all his powers except one, his ability to make himself look like someone/anything, only that when his does he's stuck like that for 24 hours plus it has a tracker.
"Why though?" Tony asked "Why not just leave him in there until we're sure that he's under control?" "Well he is our friend and I'm sure he doesn't want to be stuck in a boring room, we didn't lock Clint up after he got hypnotized did we? no! I'm just being nice plus safe." Danny answered softly "Fine but you have to watch him and he has to bunk in your room til we're sure, but if he can still make himself look like anyone how are we suppose to know it's him?" Steve asked "I'm okay with that, simple tracker and like you said I'll be with him" "alright it looks like you have a babysitter now reindeer games, good luck." and with that the avengers left.
"Wanna go read and eat Pizza?" "You read my mind" smirked Loki, they race off to the kitchen to get the left over pizza from the night before, then head to Danny's room to read and eat.
~30 Minutes later~
"What if I transformed into you and spent the day as you?" Loki asked "that would be cool we could be the Danny twins" Loki then turns into Danny and they continue reading, for a long time because reading is amazing and great.
"I'm hungry lets go eat something else" Danny complained (I WANT FOOOOOOOD) "sure, why not, lets go" they walk out and go to the kitchen and Loki grabs some ice cream, well Danny grabs some Mac 'n' Cheese, they go and sit down in the lounge where some of the avengers are, they look up and see two Danny's and can they see what they're eating and already now which one is Loki and with one is Danny.
Danny and Loki sit down and eat their food (would you even call ice cream food?) after awhile Loki starts moaning "ugggggh what was wrong with that ice cream my stomach feels bad now" "Yo Stevie eat some of his ice cream, I don't eat it so you have to." Steve rolls his eyes but eat some it either way "it tastes fine, just the way it always does" Steve says then sat down "I'll give him a check up" Bruce says tiredly.
"While it looks like the device makes him feel the same as what his copying, so since you can't eat ice cream he can't either, we can fix the device tomorrow" Bruce explains "Oof that sucks, so if someone punches me in the arm, he'll feel it too?" Danny asked Bruce nodded "Why does he look like you though?" "We through it would be fun." They left and went back to the lounge and watched and movie with everyone else, 'Joker 2019' then 'suicidal squad' after awhile we had dinner, which was shepherds pie, potatoes and vegetable, Dan sat with Loki and they ate and talked with everyone else like they always do at dinner, Dan hears a groan from beside him and see Loki is upset "what's wrong?" "These potatoes taste bad, and feel like puking when I eat the pie" "well you ARE feeling the same things as me" " plus I've only had a few bits and I'm full, is this what mortals feel about food?" "some, but I just have a big dislike for food,just cover it was sauce it's what I do, I just don't have an appetite so I get full easily" unfortunately for them some-people around them heard their conversation "You don't like Steve's cooking?" Miss Romanoff asked "no no I like it, it's just food in general that I don't like, Steve is a great cook just I haven't liked food in months (...years) he's a great cook" Danny said "You should ask Bruce for a check up to see if it's a problem" Bucky suggested "Nah it's fine" Dan goes back to watching the movie and eating the sauce covered food.
After Dinner Loki left to get a drink, he saw a can of Monster (Ripper) in the fridge so he decided to try it cause he hadn't tried the mortal drink before,he takes the can and walked back into lounge and sat with Danny, who was asleep, They were watching Vines because they wanted to understand what Peter means when he made vine references.
Loki didn't understand them, 'Mortals are weird', he clicks open the can and takes as sip of his Monster drink and finds it delicious so he chugged the whole can in a world record of 3.5 seconds and throws the can away in to the bin, the sound of the metal meeting metal awaken Danny with a fright "Sorry, I didn't mean to awake you Dan" "It's fine" Loki sits back down and they continue watching, "what did you throw in the bin anyways?" "A Monster drink, it was quite divine" "....You drank a energy drink... even though you'll react the same way I react to stuff?" "yes? what's the worse that could happen by drinking an energy drink?" "HAH just you wait, I'll help you after a while" He looks at Dan confused but shrugged it off as he thought you over reacting, oh how wrong he was.
