There's been a lot of talk on Amino recently. That and a lot of drains and mental breakdowns. Ever since the last episode on Rainbow Steve coming it became too good to be true. That this Rainbow Steve isn't our Rainbow Steve.
Two theories have been most popular.
1. Rainbow Steve is the Spirit Guardian in disguise. Since the last encounter with Spirit Boi it would make sense. He was obviously distressed and upset about Alex's power removed, and needed to fix it. Time was in the way so he left enraged. The very next episode, Rainbow Steve was seen. Coincidence? I don't think so. Furthermore why would Rainbow want to attack Alex. Alex never met Rainbow and Rainbow never met Alex. What would give him the motive to kill? Maybe the reason Time was killed was because he "was in the way" as Rainbow and Spirit Guardian have said multiple times. There's just too much connection to pass up.
2. Plague and Faceless escaped back to the timeline and are causing the plague. It has been the latest and biggest theory ongoing today. It would make sense as to how this plague or Steve/Alex virus started. As revenge plague hid and started infecting peoples energy (since all Steves, Alexes and lores are composed of energy). My friends have been talking all about this. My friend gamersarathecat was first to start this trend. Then my friend Darklord added on:

And then comes Faceless. He would be the impersonator. The one to stall people and be Plague's sidekick. He possibly was the one to impersonate Rainbow Steve just now. It would make sense as to his sudden motive to kill. To enforce this topic, I-or shall I say we will explain why Facrless wouldn't be talking. Yes it's because there is no voice actor for Rainbow yet, but it could also be a different reason. Gurnoor1234567 said that the reason Faceless couldn't be talking is because he somehow knows about Rainbow's voice change. If he used the voice impersonation he already had down things would obviously be immediately suspicious (that or I'd be happy about Gray's return).
Either way This Rainbos is evil, Time Steve is dead (again), and my hope for Elemental's return is dwindling.
