an honest leaf flower

Sew me into an honest leaf flower

And float me down river with a sprig of heraclitus time

So I can reach the sun freckled ocean

And be free as the wind chasing the sun

Flying with the highs and lows

Diving into the secret garden troughs

Where the giant squid lay

And the sperm whales play.

~~

I'll pick coral florets

And dine on blue stag plates

Reach under grumpy trout locks

To discover the meaning of life

Hidden in blue-fire light

On the volcanoes slow-blood side.

And as my body explodes

under pressure without measure

My last heart thought will be

Sweeter than the gold dust foot

On the busy spring-time racer

Bumble bee.
