Sew me into an honest leaf flower
And float me down river with a sprig of heraclitus time
So I can reach the sun freckled ocean
And be free as the wind chasing the sun
Flying with the highs and lows
Diving into the secret garden troughs
Where the giant squid lay
And the sperm whales play.

I'll pick coral florets
And dine on blue stag plates
Reach under grumpy trout locks
To discover the meaning of life
Hidden in blue-fire light
On the volcanoes slow-blood side.
And as my body explodes
under pressure without measure
My last heart thought will be
Sweeter than the gold dust foot
On the busy spring-time racer
Bumble bee.
