"ben! come on i want to show you something cool!" ren had her hand wrapped around ben's upper arm as she dragged him upstairs.

"alright, slow down though my feet can't move that fast!" ben chuckled.

eventually ren dragged ben into her room in which every inch of her walls were covered by paint. her lamps were on, shining on her works of art. whether they were just random shapes or beautiful and intricate designs, it was impossible to say that her work were full of flaws for they were all perfect. being in the presence of her art made ben feel tranquil and calm. as if there was nothing to worry about. yet, behind these marvelous paintings he just couldn't help think about the real reason why these paintings were plastered onto her wall.

"god, ren," ben was speechless, "this is... ridiculous."

"i got too worried. i didn't expect you guys to come back so i just did what i usually do when i'm in panic. at least, what i do alone."

"you did this all in the span of us being gone?"

ren nodded with a hurt expression, an expression that ben mirrored.

"ren..." ben was about to hug her until their mother appeared in the doorway.

"your father wants you two down for training immediately." grace said with a bright smile on her face.

"yes, mom." they both gulped, feeling their feet grow heavy as they headed towards the door.

"i did not raise you children to be such disappointments!" reginald's voice boomed throughout the room, "what you kids did was beyond disrespectful! you are living luxury in this house yet you want to leave! i knew you kids were the wrong choices when i adopted you all. those 35 other children would have been glad to be where you are, yet you try to throw all of this away!"

"there he goes with that fucking excuse," klaus looked over to allison in which he realized her shaky breaths. he poked her with his index finger, "it's alright sis." she tried to smile at him.

"to teach you children a valuable lesson, you will be required to do a 2 hour session. none of you will receive food, drink, or rest. i should not hear any complaining. you should all have enough stamina to get through this. if you don't, well, clearly you aren't worthy of your power nor title!"

reginald stood in front of the line of kids, watching them crumble down in embarrassment and guilt. nothing but anger appeared on his face as he stared all of the children down.

"number 1 and number 4!" luther and klaus stepped forward, keeping their heads up. they then proceeded to a section of the room while sending fearful glances to each other.

"number 3 and number 6!" allison and ben appeared in front of the line. soon they headed over to an empty part of the room. they felt each other's fear, their worries, their concerns.

"number 2 and number 10!" diego and ren positioned themselves in front of five. with a look of horror, diego turned his head to ren. yet, hers was facing down towards the ground. like the others, they went to an empty area.

"number 5, with number 3 and number 6." five quietly scoffed before turning towards his brother and sister.

"stances!" reginald seemed to echo. everybody got into position, waiting for the signal.
