Ash's P.O.V.
"Isn't there ANYTHING you can do?!" I asked the doctors.
"I'm afraid not," one of them replied. "We have no idea how long she'd had amnesia, or how long it will be before she will be able to remember. But until then, we need someone to take care of her."
"And since YOU'RE the Ash she calls for in her sleep," the other began. "We were thinking that maybe you could take her along?"
"Me?!"
"Yes, you."
THIS is gonna be hard...
I hope Dawn will remember things soon... rather than later...
I signed the release forms and took Dawn to where the others were waiting outside.
"Everyone," I began. "This is Dawn Berlitz. She will be our new companion from this day forward. Please keep in mind that she doesn't know much and has a lot to learn."
"Hello!" they all greeted.
I'm so happy they've all gone off on the right foot.
Maybe we could all teach Dawn... together...
And maybe all she needs is a bit of friendship...
