I woke up to hear my parents yelling at each other. Well, my mom yelling at my dad and my dad sitting quietly thing of how to escape the situation. You see my dad is a major whore and he sleeps around a lot. You'd think he wasn't married the amount of times he's cheated on my mother. He even hooked up with my friends mom which is how we met. Karen came over and claimed she was helping my father when in reality they were sleeping together. I go downstairs to get that thought out of my head and make breakfast because my 'maid' is out today probably avoiding our family problems. My family is super rich you can tell just by looking at my house. It's unnecessarily large in my opinion. I guess it's large to distract from our horribly dysfunctional family. I've had to deal with fake people my whole life due to my wealth, I only trust four other people enough to call them my real friends.  After I've eaten breakfast I go up stairs to get my bag and get out of my house as soon as possible.
My older sister drives me to school most days. She usually kicks me out the car about a half mile in front of the school as to not be seen with me in front of her 'cool friends'. i skate the rest of the way after saying bye to her. We still have a good relationship despite our parents. I throw down my board and began skating. As I'm riding by i can hear whispers about how fast im going.
"There's no wind how is she going so fast?"
"How on earth does she do that?"
I just smirk and continue going as fast as the wind'll let me.

I finally make it to school. I shove through the front doors of the school looking down at my watch. "Shit I'm gonna be late." I mutter to myself as i begin to pick up my pace eventually skating through the halls of the school. I count down the seconds till class starts

I bust through my homeroom doors right before the bell rings and claim my victory by taking a seat in the front row. I high five Dustin and look up to see a very frustrated teacher.
"Shawn, what have I told you about coming in right before the bell?" Mrs.Williams  looks down at me looking for an answer.
"Don't?" I suggest looking back up at her shyly.
"Atta girl." She walks back to her desk as Smile awkwardly at Mike and shrug.
Mrs. Williams goes on about something as I look out the window I see my sisters boyfriend and Mikes sister skipping class. I nudge the arm next to me, which turns out to be Lucas's, and point to the window. The chain continues and soon all of us know about the couple skipping class. I glare at the two giggling playfully in the window and scoff. We all whisper to each other about what they could be doing. "Maybe they're just hanging out. You know, as friends" Will tried to reason
"Um, I don't think so they've been hanging out a lot recently and have no shame in flirting with each other when they're 'studying' ." Mike informs us.
"Yeah don't be so naive Will they're probably doing it!" I accidentally shouted the last part. "Oh my, Miss Drift I think that calls for detention this saturday, don't you agree?"
"Sure, I guess." I roll my eyes

As soon as the bell rings I dash out of the class before explaining myself to the boys. I immediately start  looking for my sister. "Ronnie, I need to tell you something" I tugged on her sleeve trying to get her to pay attention to me.
"Um, Veronica there's a giant on your arm." One of my sisters snotty friends sneered as the other giggled.
"Pendejo" I mutter under my breathe glaring at her. "What do you want Shawn" She looked up at me obviously annoyed. "This is more of a private conversation." I hint hoping she'll get the message. Of course she doesn't so I have to drag her away from her friends to tell her the unfortunate news.
