My Mom Tries To Kill Me

Ringing was all I could hear. The endless ringing. I opened my eyes as if I was jolted. I inhaled and exhaled faster than a rabbits heartbeat. I was in shock. I felt my body pulse as if my actual body was in my dreams too. I felt like puking and then I started bawling like a newborn baby. My head felt like it was about to fall off. I sat there crying like an idiot, hoping someone would comfort me, but of course, no one would. As I was drifting off into my thoughts one of the nice maids knocked on my door loud and hard and screeched,

“Senorita? Wake up! Your mother is coming to kill you in 5 minutes! You must hurry and go, get out of here! Now, before she comes. I hid the hatchet but that will only buy you a matter of time.”

I bawled so hard and then grabbed my bag of things that are special to me and ran outside. I started running as the alarm went off. I picked up the pace and heard the door open. My mother was on the phone about how she couldn’t talk at the moment. I looked back at my old dog house and for a split second I felt as if I didn’t want to leave.

Then I heard a whoosh behind my ear. It was my mother in her red dress with red heels. She was stocked with knives and axes and other tools you would find in a garden. She threw something else and ordered,

“Get your ugly ass over here right now! You are gonna die and no one is gonna care!”

I screamed as she threw another knife and it knicked me on the cheek. I bolted as fast as I could and opened the red ruby gate. I closed it and locked it tight. I heard my mother bang on the door as hard as she could until a little hole spewed out of the gate. I ran back into the front yard and took the trail out to the street.

I felt so good as my bare feet dug into the hot dirt as I ran. My fat stubby legs deprived me of running very far. Good thing it wasn’t a really hot day like in a cheesy movie or anything. It was kinda chilly, but not enough for you to really notice and it was mostly cloudy.. I stopped because I was out of breath. I felt like Vivian, even though I knew I wasn’t. My whole body was on this sort of endorphin rush.

I started running again until I made my way to the highway. All the cars were zooming past and I gave myself a thumbs up and stuck it along the tar.

I waited for such a long time until a nice old lady in an old 70’s chevy came up. I asked if she could give me a ride to the nearest city. Then she asked where I was headed, so I told her. From then on I would pony up some cash for a bus ticket to San Francisco. I heard it was really nice there. Turned out she was heading there too! She said she would take me.

Luck was on my side for now. I got in the car and she had some nice symphony playing. I decided to drift off and take a nap to kill time. I looked out the window and got comfy. Then I closed my eyes and fell asleep without worry...

A.N.

I decided to have her leave just because I could see a plot if she left. I might or might not have a big crossover of a ton of stuff that I will publish in a few weeks. I thought that maybe she could meeting people in the real world that remind her of her friends in Aertha. I really don’t know where to go in the real world once she gets to San Francisco so if you have any suggestions or comments I would love to hear from you and hope you enjoyed reading this part. I know this is kinda short but the next probably four will be really long.
