When it rains it pours and we drown in sorrow; hands clutched together we plunge to point zero.
Lifeboat not far yet we have no hands free, fear of losing each other trying to set us both free.
Then when the light splinters through clouds of misfortune, and the water escapes from our lips and our lungs; we'll be clutched together two souls to one and live out our days together in the sun.
