Jaune gently tending to a now fully grown Blade and Scarlet, Ruby watching as he does so. Scarlet huffs, sending a small cloud of embers out of her armored jaws. Jaune chuckles.
"It's okay girl. I know know you don't like cleaning time, but we don't have any volcanos or deserts nearby for you."
A loud groan in response.
"Ha Ha."
He then dips his cloth in more polish, and gently rubs it along her bladed tail. She seems more content when Jaune starts to rub her tail with the polish.
"Glavenus take great pride in their tails. So they do their best to keep them clean, sharp and sturdy. This is a special compound I found in that book."
"Cool."
A sudden explosion makes the ground rumble. A large plume of smoke rises from Vale. Jaune stands up, and whistles, and Blast descends, carrying his armor. He drops it and lands beside Jaune. Jaune quickly puts on his armor, and mounts Blast. He nods to Ruby.
"Get suited up. I'll be back."
Blast takes off, and picks up Blade. They then fly into the city, and touch down near the blast. Smoke rose up form a destroyed building. And then they hear a growl. They turn around to see something standing behind them. A large crest juts from its head, and its two club shaped forearms glow neon green.

"A blighted Brachydios!"
The beast roars at them, before pulling back it's right "fist", a swinging it at them. The trio dodge the blow, and the Brachydios slams its fist into the ground, splashing bright neon green slime on the ground. It turns and faces them, before noticing Blade wasn't there. Then, something suddenly slashes across its face, causing it to roar in pain. It then swings its tail and knocks him away. Blast then descends and sinks his talons into it's back, injecting his venom into the blighted beast.
Purple liquid starts to drip from Brachydios' a mouth. Blast then takes off again, and circles around the beast. The Blighted Brute Wyvern glares at the Rathalos. But then something jumps on its back. It's Jaune. He draws his carving knife, and starts rapidly stab the beast in its back. The Brachydios thrashes, and Jaune struggles to hold on. But a sudden fireball blasts it in the face, distracting it from the Rider.
Blast fires another fireball, and Brachydios snarls, before the fire ball smacks into it again. It roars in pain. It then slams its tail into the ground, forcing a large chunk of asphalt out of the ground. It then rubs slime on the chunk, before grabbing it with its jaws, and throwing it up into the air. It then swings its tail, and smashes the chunk, sending a volley of explosive chunks at Blast.
Blast expertly dodges, explosions detonating behind him. The Brachydios stops suddenly, exhaustion setting in. Jaune then stands up, before his Charge Blade enters axe mode. The young Rider then unleashes two violent slashes, the axe shield spinning as he slashes into the back of the beast.
It roars in pain and falls on its side on the second strike. Jaune lands beside it as it writhes. The teen rider then runs towards it, and then unleashes a violent flurry of slashes. But then he hears a squelch and looks down. He stepped in the puddle of slime form earlier. It had turned yellow, and began to glow.
"Kaboom!!"
Jaune is sent flying, his sword clattering off to hit right. Which is immediately sent skidding further as the Brachydios stands up, its tail smashing the small blade away. It then turns to the Rider, before it roar in rage. It's slime starts to glow orange and yellow. It then charges towards the disarmed Rider.
Jaune raises his shield, and the Brachydios slams its fist into the shield, causing a violent explosion. Jaune is sent skidding back, but before he can recover fully, the Brachydios slams its other fist into his shield again, the explosion sending him flying this time. But Blast catches him, and they fly higher, out of the Brachydios's reach. It growls, before it hears a groans behind it. It turns around, only to see the building behind it collapsing towards.
"Boooom!!"
Blade emerges form the rubble, his tail wagging. Jaune and Blast descend. Jaune quickly dismounts, and spots his sword. He picks it up.
"Guard up you two. It's not dead yet."
The rubble explodes, and the Brachydios emerges, growling in fury. But one of the buildings suddenly crumbles as something else crashes through it. Sulfur yellow eyes glare hatefully as the new monster slams into Brachydios, its multiple rows of teeth into its throat. The green beast then twists, snaking the Brachydios's neck. The beast then tears up and roars. Roars so loud that echoes for a three miles. It then turns, saliva dripping from its maw as it glares at the Rider and his Monsties. Jaune's grip on his blade tightens.
