Chapter 15: The Ruins

Jaune was saddling up Blast, and equipping his armor. He mounts Blast, and they silently take off into the night sky. Their destination? The old ruins where Lute defeated Makili Pietru. They battled powerful flaws before landing on a pillar. Several monsters crawled around, including a wolf like beast that looked almost like a grim, except it gently nuzzled against two smaller creatures that were similar to it.

"So that's a Stygian Zinogre. Interesting. Well we should keep moving before it notices us."

They quietly get down to the ground, and they hear a quiet mewl. They turn and see a small Stygian Zinogre infant. Nearby was a corpse of a smaller but definitely adult Stygian.

"Poor guy. Guess the other one killed your parent didn't they. Sorry about that. How about we take you home."

He picks it up, and notices that the baby has an abnormally large right horn.

"Are you a Stygian version of a Thunderlord? If doc then that means I've discovered a subspecies Deviant! That's awesome. Here little guy, I'll put you in here for now."

      He slips the baby Zinogre into the punch where he put the baby Nargacugas. And speaking of which, did you want to know what happened to them? Well they're being used to teach riding lessons at school. They're in good health, and still are very playful. Anyways, back to the story. The trio slowly advance through the ruins, dodging Brachydios and Glacial Agnaktors. Along with the occasional Deviljho and Rajang, which often started to scrap with one another. Soon, they arrive at the top. There, stands a massive kinship crystal. But off to the left lies a massive skeleton.

"So these are the remains of the Versa Pietru that was corrupted by the dark emotions of its rider."

He gently runs his hands over the bones.

"This is where Lute saved the world."

He walks up to the kinship ore, and gently touches it. It glows brightly, and reveals two figures. One was tall man with a face that seemed much younger than he actually was and silky brown hair. The other was a much taller man, wielding a massive sword.

"L-Lute?! And are you... RADON?!!"

"Yep. Though pipe down a little, kid. You'll need up attracting the Deviljho you dodged down there."

"I agree with my idiot descendant here. Quiet down child."

"Oi! I did my best to slay the Blight!"

"That's not what I meant. It took you a decade to realize Avinia was in love with you."

"Ok both of you stop! Why and how are you here? Aren't you supposed to be oh, I dunn DEAD!"

"We came to train you. We both slew Makili here, so since you're new, we're gonna have to teach you how to harness to power of the White Dragon. You did against the Equal Dragon Weapon. We need to help you use it in other ways."

"Okay then... well? Shall we begin?"

"I like your spirit. Turn for training!"
