Light: Introduction

I have just one aim. To become the world's strongest. I'm just a regular 15 year old boy from the small village of Ospra who has big dreams. Well mostly, the nobles don't even consider us as humans because they feel the people from the boonies are pretty much trash.
Well my friend or rival you could say, shares the same dream with me and we have a regular competition on who's more useful.
The village children who have attained 15 years of age usually go to the school of elements where each student goes and learns their own element in a much more deeper basis.
There was one problem for me. The element that i could use was not in curriculum. Elements are pretty much categorised into many groups: Basic, Complex and legendary.
Basic elements included fire, water, air and earth. Their users are abundant and can be seen almost everywhere.
There are Complex elements that include lightning, poison, Physical enhancement and Blue Flames. Blue Flames are considered rare because it was an element that is very old and nobody knows the cause for the flame to be blue. Atleast the fire users of this generation can't use blue Flames.
Then come the legendary elements that include time, light, darkness and space.
Every person in the world have atleast one element from birth that they would be able to use.
Each of these elements have the same amount of power and it's mostly mistaken that the basic elements are weakest. Well that is not the case.
As you get an element on the higher level, it becomes more difficult to master it.
I by birth had the element of light. It truly did defy genetics cause my dad was a fire user and my mom was an earth user.

Well apart from that mystery, gaining mastery over my element was no small joke.
This became the first obstacle as my local school didn't cater to such rare elements at all.
