Well you would've heard from my rival, Tony. Well true he was a born genius you could say. Unfortunately, not everyone is the same. Well he had said all people had the ability to control atleast one element, but too bad I'm one of the exceptions. I can't control any element, yes none of the so many elements that ever exist.
Well that's unlucky, but not that I let things be as i am, i did my physical training as much as i could and true it doesn't close the gap too much.
He does take me for a rival in simple stuff all because i do whether or not I can control elements.
But things don't remain the same now do they? It all started after a certain event that changed both our lives.
Well it was during that one morning when Tony and I had gone for a selection exam to get into the school of elements.
The head priest had conducted all sorts of tests in which i admirably failed, well good for Tony he aced it all. As for the final round, the head priest called out " Candidates, as for the final round, we'll have you all fight each other! We have healers on the sidelines so fight to you full content!"
With that, he called out the names and the pairs. Well i was paired up with some Xi Luon whom i had never heard of. Tony had been paired up with some really powerful person named Leonard. They were up first. Well all i was doing was admiring their fight.
Both were ready for the fight and we're ready to call out their moves. It all happened in a split second. The entire ground was in shatters and huge cracks as a meteor sort of sphere struck the ground with great force. All the other candidates were blown away and the head priest had put up his barrier to stand.
At the center of that sphere, stood one person wearing a black
Cape. "Oh my, all i see are insects who grovel beneath my feet! Guess I'll put a few out of your misery"
With that Tony charged at him in light speed and pulled out a punch which was surprisingly blocked with one fist.
At one word, "chains" the man said, Tony was locked down with chains made out of blood that came out from the ground. I too tried to do something. Well if punches at light speed didn't affect him, then punches at normal speed is nothing but a joke .
Well i too was beaten up and the head priest was knocked out.
The sky was cloudy and black clouds gathered above. " What's this? I sense absolutely no element affiliation in you? Well i was an unfortunate one, but it seems there are others worse off than me." With that he kicked me in the stomach and sent me flying. My desire to fight was strong and was burning real bright and that was when it happened.
A streak of Black Lightning struck me from the sky.
