Everyone wants to be needed
To be cared for,to be loved
To be listened to,to be heard
To be wanted,to be significant
No matter,how tough we are
How much of a soloist we are
No,matter,how brutal or hard hearted we may be
We all want one thing to be "needed"
We might try to hide,fight or push aside this want
But,it is still there under these layers and layers of sturdiness
That's how we were created.
Shouldn't we make others feel like the blood flowing through our body?
Cause I want that ,we all want it
And it makes us feel on top of the world
It makes our capability rise so high that we could climb mountain Everest with so much finesse
We want be held in someone's arms without letting go
To be kissed with so much love and not lust
To feel like the most beautiful, unique being even though,we still feel like there are so many people like us.
Conversing without having a sexual or physical attraction but feeling that chemistry you can't comprehend
We still have the insecurities that keep us in check of our current situations
But,you remind me that my insecurities are nothing but make up stories and all you see is a perfect,salient being with a little rough edges here and there
To listen to every story,every nagging without looking bored to death
And the care you show could make any tyrant's heart skip a beat
To push me hard for my voice to be heard by others, for my opinions to voiced out even though it might make me hate him for a day or two
To feel like the most beautiful, unique being even though,we still feel like there are so many people like us.
Then we ask this question what makes me so special that he looks at me with so love in eyes,in his action
However, in our hearts we know that this is what it means for us to be needed.
