Somerset Institute

Chapter two

              Mrs Sinclair's class stepped into the white carriage. Huxley and Cassidy sat beside each other. The carriage drove away from the school grounds and turned down the street.  The class of the academy felt mixed emotions about this field Trip, they felt nervous, curious, or indifferent.  Some fiddled with their hair and fingers. 
               The institution was quiet, it was early in the morning. The students were fast asleep. At least they were. The Dean of the institute announced in a loud voice over the speakers.
"For the next few mouths we are going to be playing host to the Vista Academy and Rio Tracy and Spenser Mitchell are going be the tour guides, go back to sleep," the Dean said.
Rio groaned and tried to get back to sleep, unfortunately he could not. He got up and stretched. He stripped off his night-clothing and threw the clothes down the laundry shot. He walked to his bathroom and turned on the shower. Freezing water grumbled its way through the pipes and was spat down from the shower head. He stepped into the cold water and grimaced as cold water touched his skin. Everyone was use the water bring cold constantly but they would never truly use to it. The only ones who still complained were the new students.
He grinned at the thought of the pompous academy students reaction to cold showers and no warm baths. He quickly cleaned his body and washed his hair. He dried off and brushed his teeth. Rio put on his black sleeveless shirt, black blazer and slim jeans, he put his red tie messily on. He put his black tie up boots on and shoved a handful of lollipops into his button up bag.
He smirked and nodded when he caught site of his black criss cross lip ring. He mussed his hair up and grabbed his black leather and sliver messenger bag. He threw the bag over his shoulder. He walked out and closed the Heavy, wood door. The door automatically locked. He started to walk to common room when his friend Spenser walked by.
"Hey Spenser," he grinned.
"Woke up to the Deans voice too?" She questioned rhetorically.
"Do you really need to ask that," Rio teased.
"Great way to wake up!" Spenser said in false cheer.
