It had been about a month after the entrance exams. Mom had been checking the mail every day. Dad wouldn't just tell us, so we were left in suspense for the entire month.
Mom ran upstairs, calling to Izu and I. We open our doors simultaneously, looking at the woman who had fallen to the floor. We go to help her up and she holds out two letters. "They're here!" She exclaims.
I immediately knew what she was talking about. I grabbed the one with my name on it, Izu grabbed his, and we both went into our rooms to see.
I made sure to close my door behind me, scared of my mother's disappointment for if I didn't get in. I take a deep breath and open the letter. I see a transmitter-like thing and figure that out. I turn it on and a picture of dad pops up on it.
"Young Midoriya! I am very excited to be able to teach you in my class this year!" That's all I heard. The rest was blocked out by sobs of happiness. He went on about how he was proud to have both of his children in UA, which means Izu got in too.
After the letter finished, I came out into the living room, a huge smile on my face. Izu was already out there, giving a thumbs up. The attention turns towards myself.
With a huge, closed eye smile, I put my fists on my hips, "I got in!"
"Oh my goodness! Both of my babies are going into UA! I'm so proud of both of you!" She locks us in a hug. Izu and I both chuckle and hug the woman back.

Kami-Boo: yeah, me too!
(Y/N): I did too! I'm scared and excited at the same time! 😣😆
Daddy Kiri: arcade today, still?

Daddy Kiri: well hurry up, then, Kaminari! I've been waiting on you all day!
Kami-Boo: yeah yeah, I'm on the way now. If I knew you were there by yourself, I would've came sooner!
(Y/N): Count me in! Izu said he'd join too, if that's alright...
Kami-Boo: I don't see why it would be a problem, Babygirl
Daddy Kiri: I'm not here alone! I met someone. He got top in his section. I think they got A or something like that.
(Y/N): cool! Kami, now you have to bring someone too, to even it out. You don't wanna be 5th wheelin, do ya?😂😂
Kami-Boo: of course not! I'll... Find someone... Probably 🤔
(Y/N): well, I'm on the way now. I'll see you guys when I get there!

I turned my phone on silent as we walked to the arcade. We ended up stopping for snacks.
"Izu... Do you smell that?" I asked, slightly confused by the alluring scent of cinnamon.
