"wow, i had no idea i was dating a dog!" i said sarcastically, squeezing his hand that was resting on my left shoulder a bit. saihara whined,
"i'm sorryyy..." he nuzzled his head deeper into my shoulder
saihara has been pretty clingy towards me lately. i've always thought it was due to stress from the killing game, or how he gets panic attacks after class trials
"how come saihara-chan has been really clingy towards me lately? i mean—not that i mind, i'm just curious~" i asked, slightly adjusting myself on saihara's lap
"i'm too tired to explain.." he said, almost inaudible for me to hear due to his head being buried into my shoulder
"pleaase? you're just making me more curious!" i complained
saihara sighed and lifted his head up
"fine.. my parents are a famous actor and a screenwriter, who went overseas for business, which is why i began to live with my uncle and his wife. there isn't any sad story behind it all.." saihara said, smiling bitterly
god, he's such a bad liar.
i sighed, "i'm not gonna force you to tell me, saihara-chan, but that was an obvious lie." i stared blankly at him.
saihara's eyes widened, "w-what do you mean?"
i leaned in closer towards him, "liars know liars, saihara-chan~" i whispered in his ear.
i watched as saihara's face quickly grew hot, he shuddered. i leaned away and turned my head,
"so, you could either tell me the truth, or you can leave me hanging with an obvious lie. the choice is yours, saihara-chan. i don't want to pressure you" i smiled weakly
saihara's face grew darker. it's so cute how he blushes so easily..
"okay.. w-well, my parents are neglectful towards me.. which is the real reason why i began to live with my uncle and his wife. to show gratitude towards my uncle, i helped him by working as his assistant in his detective agency. my uncle would always make up an issue on why i couldn't help, but that was just a lame half-assed excuse to shoo me away." saihara frowned
i tilted my head, "so you're touch-deprived?"
"i guess you could say that.." he said, blushing in embarrassment
"how cute! ..not the family part.. but how you cling to me because you just want affection~ could that be the only reason saihara-chan is dating me? how cruel!" i exclaimed, throwing my hand on my forehead dramatically
saihara suddenly kissed my cheek, causing my face to flare up red.
"you and me both know that was a lie, ouma-kun" he smiled supportively
"hmph.. n-no fair..! saihara-chan can see past my facade!" i said, slightly stuttering, making saihara jokingly rolled his eyes
ding dong dong ding!
"attention! attention! hey, is this thing on?!" monotaro shouted
"yes, yes it is.." monophanie sighed at his stupidity
"ahem! anyways, it is now 10 p.m, meaning you bastards have to go to sleep now!! let's hope nothing scary happens tonight~!" monotaro eerily said
"aHHH! NOOO! BLRGHBLRGHBLRGH" monophanie's face turned green before she vomit
"ooh, it's purple! i heard purple means bad luck!" monotaro teased
"NOOOOOOO!!" the pink bear shouted
monodam sighed,
" SO - LONG - BEAR - WELL "
i turned to face saihara, "can i sleep in your room tonight again?" i asked, playing with his soft navy-blue hair
"of course." saihara warmly smiled
i smiled and quickly got off saihara's lap, allowing him to get into bed. i ran to the light switch to flip it off and jumped into bed with saihara and got under the covers. saihara pulled me in for a gentle kiss, to which i kissed back happily. once i pulled away, i turned around so saihara could pull me into a hug. i smiled at the sudden warmth as soon as he did. i would never admit it, but i actually loved being the little spoon.
"night, ouma.."
