KATES POV

We woke up to my 6am alarm. It was Thursday. Which meant tomorrow was game day. Monty was taking me to get my nails done today because he refused to let me pay for them. We both got dressed and i stole his letterman jacket and put over a white tshirt and black jeans with black old skool vans. We got in my jeep and I drove to school. I parked and we both got out walking hand in hand into the school. We stopped at my locker so i can grab a few things and we went to talk to our friends.
"Hey guys," i said as we walked up. Getting heys from everyone else.
"Oh hey Kate i was wondering if you wanted to go dress shopping for the winter formal in two weeks?" Jess asked me.
"Sure but not today, my love here refuses to let me pay for my nails to get done," she awes and smiles knowing how much it is.
"Dude. You know for a female to 'get her nails done' includes mani-pedi and eyebrows?" Alex told Monty.
"Yea its fine. Cant be that expensive," Monty shrugged. I laughed at my boyfriend.
"Why how much is it?" Zach asked.
"Maybe about 70ish," i said. All the guys eyes grew they were all in shock. Jess and I just laughed.
"You really pay that much?" Monty asked me.
"No i dont get my toes done just my nails and eyebrows,"
"And how much is that?" Justin asked.
"About 50ish," Jess told her boyfriend. The guys jaws dropped and the first bell went off. Monty wrapped his arm around me and we walked to our first period class. The teacher put on a movie and I sat on Montys lap the boys sitting with us too. I put my earbuds in and hit shuffle. Everything Will Be Ok by G Eazy came through the speakers. I laid my back into Montys chest. Inhaling and exhaling at a steady speed. The song brings back sad and bad memories for me but i couldnt dare to switch it. It made me think of many people. Some including people im friends with today like my best friend. My breathing was slow and my eyes closed. Before i knew it the bell went off and Monty tapped my side to get up. I looked around and got up.
"You ok?" Zach was standing in front of me. He looked worried. Monty had his hands on my side.
I nodded and walked out of the class. My breathing grew heavy and my vision blurred. Everything seemed to be moving slowly. Monty was standing in front of me trying to get me to breathe.
"Dude whats wrong with her. Shes been acting weird." Monty looked scared as looked at Justin. Justin stepped in and pulled me into a hug.
"Monty take her headphones out. What is she listening to?"
"Everything will be ok G Eazy," Justin's grip tightened.
"Breathe its not real," i calmed down and nodded.
"Im confused what happened," Monty was worried.
"She was having bad flashbacks. Things shes seen or been through. Anything bad flashs in her head when the song plays. Puts her in a daze."
"Should we go home?" Monty asked me. I shook my head and walked to my next class.
"Im sorry babe. I didnt mean to scare you. It just scares me but i cant get myself to take the song off my phone," i grabbed him and kissed him.
"Its ok, lets be happy and be goofy and go to class," i smiled and nodded. He grabbed my hand and we walked to gym.
"Cheerleading tryouts are tonight. Are you going to try out?" Jess asked me. I nodded and smiled. I got changed for gym and met my boyfriend outside the locker rooms.  We went outside and threw a football back and forth. We talked about everything.
"Babe lets leave after this class," i said.
"Why,"
"The Montgomery De La Cruz isn't trying to leave school," i said shocked.
"No its not that. Im wondering why you want to leave. Cheerleading tryouts are tonight you have to stay," i groaned because he was right. I grabbed his hand and we walked to lunch. I decided on not eating because the food here was disgusting. Our table was in the middle and on the left. I sat next to Monty. My mind was clouded and i didnt feel as cheerful and happy as i normally do.
"Hey im gonna go to the bathroom," i whispered to Monty and got up before he said anything. I walked to the bathroom and saw there was people in there. I touched up my hair while looking myself in the mirror.
"You ever just feel as if your mind is clouded and you dont know how to feel but it isnt normal for you?" I spoke up and they looked at me.
"Is everything ok?" We didnt know each other but it never hurt to spread positivity.
"I mean yea im deep in my mind but theres no thoughts."
"Maybe you need dick," the other girl suggested.
"Got that already," i laughed. They laughed with me.
"See you seem good. Just needed a laugh," i smiled and nodded. I said bye and walked back to the table. I walked into the cafeteria and saw a girl flirting with Monty. My jaw tightened. I walked over and pushed her over.
"You're in my spot," i snarled.
"Dont trust your man do you?" She snickered.
"Nah i do. I dont trust little thots like you,"
"Well its not like he and i havent fucked," i shot my head at Monty arching my eyebrow. I grabbed his hand and we walked out to the hall.
"When did you fucking sleep with her?"
"Before we started dating,"
"How early?"
"Like a week,"
"Monty we've been dating for two months already and your hoes are still talking to you?"
"What do you want me to do?" I scoffed.
"Just nothing," i walked away and walked out to my car. I drove back to my house and grabbed all of his clothes. I put them in a bag and put it on the porch. Hes been nonstop calling and texting me.
"So what you're breaking up with me because one of my old hoes was talking to me?"
"Have you dropped any of them Montgomery?"
"Do you not trust me?"
"I don't know when all your hoes are still around."
"Its not like im still fucking them. Im with you for a reason because i dont want them."
"You didnt try and push her away when she was all over you Monty," i was holding back any ounce of me that wanted to yell.
"What do you want me to do. Push her off and hurt a female?"
"Tell her to get the fuck away from you," i yelled.  He looked taking back at my outburst. "Just get out,"
"Kate please,"
"Monty please, just go" he looked down and walked away. I sat on my bed looking at the floor. I heard him pull away. I felt my heart break but in the end i caused it. My phone was blowing up.
