Louis.

No matter how hard Harry tried or how much he hated it, he couldn't get the irritating boy off his mind. Why did he even go to that stupid party anyway? He would've never been in this mess.

It had been a few days since the awkward interaction at Harry job, Harry was thankful he hadn't seen Louis since. Tonight was the night Harry was having his first dinner with Joslyn's parents.

His room is an utter mess from the outfit changes he's made in only the last hour, finally settling with a plain black shirt under a dark red flannel, black skinny jeans topping the outfit off.
The drive was only 15 minutes away but felt like two seconds to the nervous boy, he's never met one of his serious girlfriends parents. Harry takes once last deep breath and adjust his hair before walking up and placing a knock on the front door.

"Oh, hello" Joslyn's step-mum greets Harry. She looks as if she was just cooking, the flower print apron hugging her waist tightly while she uses a brown wash cloth to wipe her hands.

"Hi, I'm Harry. Joslyn's boyfriend" Harry smiles, holding out his hand in which the women kindly accepts.

"Harry! Oh my gosh, it's so nice to finally meet you!" She grins, eventually pulling in the boy for a tight hug.

"Honey, Harry's here" She calls out pulling away and soon an older man appears from the kitchen, a large smile taking over his face as he walks over to Harry holding out his hand.

"Hello, sir" Harry smiles, shaking her fathers hand.

"Also, I'm not sure if Joslyn's told you but she had to run to the shops for me up the road, you can sit on the couch in here or up in her bedroom. Whatever is comfortable for you" The older woman smiles "I'm Johanna by the way"

Harry smiles, already liking Joslyn's step-mum, who he didn't expect to be so kind.

"This is her father Thomas and her brother is upstairs, Louis!"

Harry felt his heart sink at the familiar name mention, swallowing hard and turning his attention to the footsteps coming down the steps.

"Hello there, Harry" Louis smirks. "I didn't know you were dating Jos" he lied, chuckling to himself a bit.

"Yeah, for a few months now" Harry awkwardly chuckles.

"Well you two boys are lucky to get to know each other until she returns" Johanna smiles, Louis quickly agreeing.

"Well, let's not waste anymore time. Do you like video games?"

"Uh, I've never really played them honestly" Harry shrugs turning towards the living room, Louis grabs the boys wrist gently, before flinging him over his shoulder and rushing up the step before his mother would notice.

"You know, I'm perfectly able to walk" Harry rolls his eyes "put me the fuck down" Harry grunts, punching the older boys back.

"Gladly" Louis laughs, dropping Harry onto his bed, causing the boy to bounce slightly. Harry grunts and sits up quickly, fixing his hair out of his face.

"What's with the sour face?" Louis sits on the edge of the bed leaving only a couple of inches between the two.

"Why did you bring me here?" Harry scoffs, looking around the messy room.

"You're with my step-sister. Gotta make sure you're harmless" Louis flashes a sarcastic smile.

"Oh clearly I'm an axe murder" Harry stands up just as someone knocks on the door.

"Hey" Joslyn steps in, raising an eyebrow at her step-brother.

"Just getting to know the lad, no harm, yeah?" Louis let's out a breath, nodding his head.

"Hi, my love" Joslyn greets her boyfriend, wrapping her arm around his slightly larger waist.

"Hi" Harry smiles, placing a kiss on his girlfriends lips while Louis rolls his eyes.

"So sorry I wasn't here when you arrived, darling, Johanna had me run out" Joslyn turns Harry's attention off his phone and back to her.

Harry slowly looks up, shrugging his shoulders, pushing up from his stomach to sit properly.

"Its okay, I got to meet your brother" Harry cringes, and Joslyn takes notice, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh no, what did he do? Louis is kind of an ass" she sighs spotting closer to her boyfriend.

"Is he-ya know-"

"Gay? No Louis is the biggest s.lut I've ever met, unless he is hiding it" Joslyn laughs at Harry's wide eyes at her last words.

"Relax baby, you're mine and mine only. Louis won't even try" Joslyn hugs Harry, the boy giving a nervous chuckle.

"Right"
