As the classes of different department started to walk out of the gates, the intense pressure of the crowd was overwhelming for all of them. On the stands, two figures were seen, watching the H/C haired boy closely.
Sougo: It's a little crowded for this kind of event. Don't you think Tsukasa?
Tsukasa: True, but we're here to watch Y/N. He have been training for a week for this, let's see if he has it.
Sougo: Tsukasa, are you sure you really want to use him to fight for our cause?
He asked as silence begins to fill the two of them as Tsukasa snapped a picture of the festival.
Tsukasa: Yes, I would expect nothing less for him. He is our last chance in defeating him.
Kaito: How very enthusiastic of you Tsukasa.
He said as the two men looked beside them, seeing the treasure hunter, Kaito joined in the conversation.
Sougo: Kaito? What are you doing here?
Kaito: Me? I'm just here to check if my trainee will win.
Tsukasa: Trainee? You mean to tell me that you have already picked your rider?
He asked as Kaito just chuckled and looked down, setting his sights on Jack as he looks back at them.
Kaito: Yup, but for now, let's enjoy the show shall we?
He said as the three of them looked down, watching the opening ceremony of the festival, seeing a figure walking towards the podium as all the male students, pro hero, and audience noticed the figure.
Midnight: Silence all of you!
She said as the crowd started to simmer down as she started to speak up again.
Midnight: Now for the pledge, I call on Katsuki Bakugo from class 1-A.
She said as Bakugo did what he was told and went over to the podium, Y/N's class were very surprised at this point as they look at him.
Y/N: This won't end well...
He said softly as Bakugo reached the center of the stage, looking at his fellow competitors as he delivers the pledge, or rather, a declaration.
Bakugo: Just so you know, I'm going to win.
He said as the students and crowd booed in unison as Bakugo walked down the stand and back to his class.
Y/N: Great, now they think that we are now the biggest a-holes in the competition.
He said as he release a small sigh as he looks in front of the podium, as Midnight was now calming the crowd down as she announces the first event, by using a roulette.
Midnight: All right listen up, the preliminary round of the school festival will be an obstacle race. Roughly, you lot will be running around 4 kilometres.
She said as these caught their attention, but it seems that everyone is pumped up for the event, even if they have to do everything they have to do in order to win.
Midnight: Anyway, all students proceed to the starting line and we will begin shortly.
Midnight said as the students went to the starting line to prepare themselves. Y/N was standing on the starting line, stretching his legs as Jack went over to him.
Jack: You ready to do this?
Y/N: Yeah, I'm going to win this thing!
Jack: Cute, I'll see you in the finish line. Of course, if you manage to chase me that is.
