Ben 10 the Justice Leaguer

Dang it! I Had One Job!

        Evening fell upon the Gotham city and the dark sky began to get darker. Realising the time, Ben turned his attention back to the blue and black spandex hero still talking to him about the dangers of the city he was living in. " I realise I'm being rude here, but I really need to get back to Metropolis or I'll miss my curfew! " ' Not that I have any, but it's not like he knows so whatever. ' he mentally notes.

      Before the masked vigilante had a chance to say ' wait ', Ben had already retreated into the night and out of the city masked by the shadows. " Dang it! Anyways, what do we got Bats? " The vigilante asked as he places two fingers to his ear, pressing on his communicator.

      " Interesting things. Meet me in the batcave. " The gruff voice at the other end replied before hanging up. With a sigh, the vigilante went to the named, batcave.

      Ben, who had no idea what was going on between the bat and the bird, had already retreated back to Metropolis for the day.

      As the Sun set and the moon came for the day, Ben was absolutely bored out of his mind. No one needed saving, the night was quiet, too quiet. Something wasn't right, well he should have guessed that when he witnessed the bunch of aliens descend from space and head to the Justice league building. On second thought. He should probably check out the situation.

      In space, the Justice league watch tower, Red Tornado was fending off the small army of Darkseid's that had ambushed them while they were fixing up the communication. Black canary, a new member, along with Green Arrow and Flash were helping to fight off the horrid looking aliens that never seemed to end. " WHERE'S BATMAN?! " Flash exclaims hurriedly as he kicks a goon multiple times, effectively knocking him out. " Batman is currently with Nightwing handling another case, he will be unavailable until then. " Red Tornado nonchalantly replies.

       " YOU WOULD THINK THE MAN PREPARED FOR ANYTHING HAD A DEFENCE SYSTEM INSTALLED IN CASES OF EMERGENCIES LIKE THIS!! " Green Arrow shouts over the sea of noisy invaders, shooting an electric net arrow at them. " Wait! He did install one! But I can't reach it, it's to far from my reach. FLASH! Press the red button it'll repel these guys from the tower! " Black canary stated as she proceeds to kick one of the men in the face, making him fly straight into his comrades. " GOT IT! " The red hero shouts as he manages to evade the baddies and press the button.

      The moment the button was pushed, a strong wave of energy went through the entire watchtower, everyone excluding the Justice league members, were forced out of the tower and into space- their ship to be more precise. " Woah. " Green Arrow said. " Our badges protect us from the wave and repels those who do not have it. It is in the manual that Batman gave to us to read in cases like these. Did you not read the manual? " Red Tornado states looking at everyone but Black Canary. " The manual's at least 500 pages long, and the words aren't even normal sized! Their tiny. " Flash and Green Arrow retorts.

      Rolling her eyes, Black Canary heads to the comms and hammers the tech once for it to start working again.

      Once communications was back on, she and Red Tornado contacted the heroes that were out of the tower - before they were attacked, to inform them of the situation and make sure they were alright. " We've got the same situation here too. Their attacking all the cities their mothership covers- " Superman informed, " Their attacking all the cities. " Batman cuts in. " Great. Now we gotta deal with Darkseid's army, the panicking citizens, and look out for any casualties without dying. Fun. " The sarcastic filled voice from Green Arrow came into the chat.

       While the Justice league heroes were planning for a way to take down the ship and all it's armies, Ben had changed into Ghost freak, sneaked onto the ship, and was currently looking for the leader of the army. " Now, if I was the leader of an army bent on destroying the world- or conquering- where would I be. " The raspy voice of Ghost freak fills the empty hallway he was in as he floated around looking for the control room. " Right, on a big useless chair, surveying all the chaos down below where he could get the most view. In the air most likely, or a very high chair. "

       Finally finding the control room, Ben was confused on whether to be surprised he was right with his guessing. Or feel sad for the guy whom is cliche to the point where he wanted to laugh at him for it. ' I'll laugh my head off later. Steering these guys away comes first. ' He got into position and prepared himself for a fun ride.

      The aliens who were completely unaware that their leader had just been possessed by an alien ghost, were manning the controls and making sure everything was going the way their leader wanted. That was until his voice bellowed from were he sat, making their skins almost jump right off, " I have had enough fun for the day. We shall head back to headquarters and I shall plan out a more concrete plan to conquer this world better. " He spoke his last word like the invasion was but mere venom on the side for him.

      Not wanting to lose their lives for disobeying an order from their lord, they hurriedly called back their comrades still In the midst of their attack, voices shaking and scared for what may happen if they were to return late. Ghost freak on the other hand, was silently laughing hard from the scene before him. Though he did feel bad for them, seeing then fear their leader to the point where one just peed his pants. Literally.

     Meanwhile, the Justice league heroes who were fending off Darkseid's army, were baffled by what they were witnessing. The aliens stopped their attack midway- as if contacted by the mothership- immediately paled and started to shake when they understood their orders. They flew back so fast, that it was like they were never there.

      Flash, the quickest one to gather himself spoke first " What just happened? " He asked confused and curious at the sight he saw moments before. " Not sure. But I do have a hunch it involves the group that helped us with the Thanagarians. " Suspicious, yet obvious. Mostly due to the fact that a ghost like alien was floating towards batman and superman with the symbol on his chest the two heroes have seen on the other aliens.

        " So, we gonna talk about this or what? " Ghost freak asks as he holds his hand out to shake theirs.

         " Let's start then- " " Who are you aliens and what do you do specifically. " Batman cuts superman off as he glares at the ghost. ' What a nice person he is. Wait. I feel like I'm forgetting something. SHOOT. I FORGOT TO SET THE DVR FOR SUMO SLAMMERS. ' Having no time to waste, Ghost freak mutters a quick and short goodbye- with no explanation whatsoever- and flew off into the sky, or nearby building.

      Suspicions growing even more, Batman once again contacts Nightwing through his comms and starts mumbling words to fast for the man of steel to even register.
