The young mysterious girl watched in amusement as she took in every single detail of my features like she's never seen such a sight.she watched as my light brown eyes and long brown hair shined in the moonlight and my pale-ish skin glow.
I was tempted to ask their names but my voice was still forcing to stay quiet from the event that happened earlier.
Her mother grew her smile back and led out a hand for me to take,I took it and rose to my feet.
The little girl looked like a mini me up close, all the details of her face is exactly the same as mine.its like I'm looking at myself as a little girl.
Even her mother looks familiar, she looks like...my mother,my mother passed in a fire when I was only 4 years old once we moved to our new house much like this one.
I don't remember much of my parents because of the wild fire that had happened 35 years ago when I was 4 years of age.
The young girl, her mother and I walked downstairs to be met with delicious smells of food being plated up,we sat at the dining table that had old fashioned cutlery,my mother's favourite.
This dining table could fit up to about 15 people, much like the one I had back when i was younger. Everything in this house so far reminds me so much of the one I use to live in.
Some people walked out of the kitchen with multiple bowls of soup and placed it in the middle of the cutlery, the smell of my favourite chicken reached my nose, making me feel right at home.
The sound of footsteps approaching caught my attention after taking in every scent in the air that was lingering with all sorts of flavours from the meals that are being placed in the center of the table.
I was sat in the middle of the young girl who I still don't know the name of yet and her mother. Other people started to flood into the room and taking their seats and began eating.
Nobody said a word or moved besides a few glances in my direction,I feel like I'm in a trap and im about to be eaten alive. But I got warm welcoming smiles, the kind that you get when you've known someone for a long time and you consider them as family.
