Part 12

-Sakura's POV-

 "Sakura-chan! Wake up! Time to get going now!" 

I opened my eyes, seeing Naruto smiling down at me.

Sunlight showered over his form causing him to have this some sort of "glowing" figure.

"Woah Naruto, you look so glowing right now... literally..." I say as I rub my eyes.

Naruto let out a hearty laugh as he pulled me up. "You better get ready Sakura-chan, we're setting out again soon."

I nod in response and watch as Naruto leaves me to get ready. 

Setting all that aside, I get ready as efficiently and quickly as I could.

"Good morning guys!" I greet them as I grab Naruto's sandwhich and take a bite.

"Ah, good morning to you too Sakura!" Kakashi-sensei greets me as he gives me his "masked" smile.

I felt a presence beside me.... okay... you guys know who it is right?

Right! It was Sasuke! "Morning Sasuke!" I smile at him.

He suddenly turned red and went away...

-sigh- Well, at least last night, he gave me hope that the old Sasuke was still there... that he hasn't completely changed just yet... 

I felt relieved that Sasuke was still him deep down inside.

"So what's the agenda today sensei?" I ask him as I hand Naruto back his sandwhich.

"I wanted to make it to a nearby village to the Land of Waves today so that the next day, we could get to our destination quickly." he replies as he puts a kunai in his bag.

"Sounds great, let's get going then." I say as I stand up and dust myself.

"But before so... Tazuna-san... as what I have speculated yesterday... this mission isn't supposed to be just a C-Rank... it would have to acquire in B-rank already..." sensei said as he turns to Tazuna-san seriously.

"W-What could you p-posibly mean?" stutters Tazuna-san.

"What I mean is Tazuna-san is that... our mission shouldn't be this suspended up to this point." says sensei.

Suddenly, Tazuna-san just bows before us and cries quietly.

"Please understand! Our village doesn't have enough funds to afford a B-rank mission. If the bridge isn't built... our people will surely suffer!" he cries as he begs sensei.

Sensei was about to say something when...

"Kakashi-sensei... I think we should go on with this mission. I mean... a lot of lives are depending on that bridge... so... that's why we have to push through with this!" Naruto says as he glances at Tazuna-san once in a while.

"Hmm... if you feel strongly about it... how about you... Sakura... Sasuke?" he says and turns to us.

"I'm in for it! A little adventure and thrill once in a while won't hurt," I smile.

"Sure whatever..." Sasuke says silently.

Sensei sighs in defeat, " Alright, alright, I got it! Well, then let's get going!" he says.

"Thank you so much!" says Tazuna-san as he repeatedly bows down to us in gratitude.

"Team 7, let's go!" sensei says and we're off.

//Time Skip//

"Sensei! How much more do we have to go? I'm tired and it's already dark ya know!" Naruto whines as he drags just a little bit behind us.

"Naruto! Keep it together!!!" I fist pump and laugh as I look back at him.

"Eh?!? Sakura-chan!!! Carry me!!!" he says to me with those pleading eyes of his.

I laugh at his command. "Are you serious?"

"I am!" he says cheerily. 

"I don't think so!" I laugh and turn my back on him. 

"Actually Naruto, we're nearby our village stop. So let's go on a little more and we should arrive by now," Kakashi-sensei says.

"Hai sensei..." Naruto says in defeat.

After a while, it strangely seems like it's harder to make our way towards the village.

"Sensei... is it just me or is it getting harder to see?" I call out to sensei who was just a few miles away from me.

"Hmm... I think so too Sakura..." says sensei as he starts looking around.

Then suddenly sensei stops and told us to do so too.

"Sensei what's the matter?" Naruto complains as he skidded to a stop.

"Show yourself!" sensei suddenly shouts and glares at his surroundings.

A chuckle echoed through the forest as our team wonders who the hell sensei was talking to.

 "Ahhh... Hatake Kakashi, the oh so famous ninja known to have copied about 1000 techniques with that Sharingan of his," the same voice says surprisingly audible.

"Sharingan?" Sasuke says silently.

Hmmm... as much as I know... sensei isn't an Uchiha... so why does h have their bloodline?

Right... so much for getting to know sensei... barely...

"Zabuza Momochi, one of the 7 swordsmen and a long lost ninja of the Mist," sensei replies back with the same voice volume.

"Are we sharing facts about each other too?" Naruto sheepishly comments.

"Naruto shhh!" Sasuke scolds him with a cold glare.

"Sheesh! I get it! Don't need to get the full package of coldness here!" Naruto raises his arms in mock surrender.

"Guys! Situation over here!" I say as I jab my thumb to sensei talking to...uhm... a voice... yeah...

"Nice meeting you again... in a mission like this..." a tall man suddenly emerges from the mist like creepy slender man.

"What do you want Zabuza?" Kakashi demanded.

"You know very well by now Kakashi~" Zabuza guy smirks... under his mask...

OMG~ This guy will answer 'you' aaand then you know... what happens!!!! *blushes*

Inner!!! Stop with those thoughts!!! We're on a  mission for goodness sake!

Demo... Sakura-chan! What if Kakashi-sensei IS gay and has a relationship with this guy! I mean like Romeo and Juliet all forbidden and stuff and then they-

Blocking out all Inner has to say since it may get quite... lets see... explicit with all those fantasies and all...

"I want the Tazuna-san over there, killing him to be exact," Zabuza says.

Before I could exhale in relief that it wasn't some sort of those forbidden love fantasies like Inner said...

"Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura protect Tazuna-san! No matter what you do, DO NOT interfere am I clear?" Kakashi-sensei says as he raises his forehead protector...

Revealing his Sharingan....

"Interesting... hard way it is Kakashi~"

People sorry for the long absence! Ugh, school stuff and technical difficulties have been interfering a lot! However, since summer is here, I'll be able to update more frequently. To inform you, this book will last for 20 chapters in total so... lets just hope I can finsh it and start with the 3rd book! Teehee love ya all!
