~ Albert's POV ~

Pi is equal to 3. 1415926535897 9323846264338 3279502884197

I have put the last piece of my machine, hold the plies, twisted it and placed it in the table; gently, I get the 67th outcome of the same experiment I am working for at least three years! All of those 66, nothing worked. I hope this time it will.

"Okay. Don't disappoint Daddy once more."

Three, two, one! I closed my eyes, whispering all my hopes, and quickly clicked the center button.

I felt a sudden weird feeling inside my body, like electricity entered me. Slowly, I opened my right eye to observe my surroundings, to check if it finally worked but... I guess I failed again. Again. Again...

I still don't know how will it work or if it can possibly happen, but as a curious young scientist, I'm still bothered if time travel is possible. If I can travel to future where machines and clones are working instead of human, or in the past where dinosaurs still exist. Either of the two this time vortex will bring me, I would sure be the happiest man alive! But will this really work?

I am to throw this 67th failed machine when it sparked and vibrated. So I kept it, hoping this is one is different.  I searched for my journal, I started to jot down the progress of this experiment. Well for now, there's still no progress, aside from the weird spark and vibration, which I think is really not a progress at all...

Ugh! I'm starting to lose hope!

I was standing in front of my white board to check my formula when an annoying sound information is processed in the language center of my brain.

"Hey Albert! Still on your lab?"  Oh great! Mileva arrived to distract me again.

"Yeah. Isn't it obvious?" I retorted. Trying to ignore her, I picked my journal to view my notes. What the hell is needed for this machine?!

"Pch! Of course it is!" She pouted and crossed her arms. She walked and stopped in front of my face.

"Stop that time travel thingy! It's not like it would be possible for us to travel whenever age we wish to go! Be mindful, my friend..."

She put my journal down and stared directly into my eyes. She's creeping me out! " It's forbidden..." She whispered with her most frightening voice and I felt goosebumps forming onto my skin. But the awkward aura that surrounds us quickly vanished as she smiled and continued speaking.

"Just kidding! Have a break. Want to come with me to the beach? Even a genius like you still needs to freshen up! Am I right, smarty?" With all the manly strength that I've got, I act like I wasn't creeped out, just annoyed. Gotta show my inner theater skills.

I lean to her, stared directly in her eyes which for sure gives her shivers; and pinched her nose.

"Tsss! You sure are supportive! " I seductively spoke. "But who would have thought that some kind of a dumb blondie like you still make sense at times? Also, too much of anything is bad, right? But sorry, turtle mind, I won't give up!" I said in defense. I saw her eyes cannot stand mine; Indeed, she was taken aback.

"Whatever! Let's Go!" She turned away and walked out. I formed a smirk on my face and followed her. I have brought home the bacon! Want some?

"Wait up, coo-coo brain!"

Insanity is doing same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. ~Albert

And we have arrived at where this snelly snail girl brought me to relax. I dropped my jaw in awe and extreme amusement of the beautiful scenery which my cornea just refracted. Then I have realized that it's been three years since I have visited such wonderful places (Aside from my lab which is for me, the Most wonderful place in this world.) since I am busy with my master piece. Awareness entered my soul when I heard Mileva's shout.

"Hey! Alberto Insaneo! Let's go swimming!"

It's too late for me to run when I knew that she is going to... pour... me...a...bucket...of...ice-cold sea water...

"Argggh! You, freaking birdy! You're going to pay for this!" I grabbed a much bigger pale and filled it with sand! The last laugh is mine!

"Ahhhhhhhh! No, Albert! Not that! I'm telling you, not sand!"

She ran faster than the wind and pointed me a shovel filled with sand, too. Little did I know that there was a crab stucked in the bucket I hold and to my surprise I dropped it and run to nowhere knows.

I felt cold water at my feet yet I continued running. My mouth literally formed an "O" shape as I saw her preparing to splash water.

"Hey fool! Don't do that! I'll get wet!"

I said forming a cross with my arms to protect me from getting wet but...

"You're already wet! So why not do this?" Yea. Right.

"Okay..." I reluctantly put down my hands.

"If that so  get ready for a mega splash! Wooo! "

With all my strength I took my sweet vengeance. BWAHAHAHA! Well, well, I can conclude that we had fun playing in the water.

Floating is what I do when she got tired.

"Ugh! I'm tired! Albert! I'll just rest at the seashore." She rose and walked out of the waters.

"Okay" I said, sounding banal while still floating.

"Oh, wait! Don't go too far away from my sight, okay?"

Haha! She's like my grandmother!

"Okie dokie, Granny!"

It's quiet. Very quiet, that I did not realize that I fell asleep floating. But when I woke up...

I canmot believe what I see!

"Woah! Where am I? Am I... Am I ... Am I lost?"

I tried to float back to the seashore but I did land at a different.. world?

It's different. People are different. They are tan, black-haired, brown eyed, and are quite smaller than a normal German? Am I still in my country?

I dedicate this chapter to my soulmate, best friend and best sis ever! 0^w^0)/
