Leo

September, 4 years earlier....

Dear Jayden,

Hey bitch, it's Leo. I don't really know how to write letters. This is honestly kind of weird. How did people use to do this in the olden times? This is so frustrating, even if it's actually just an email. I'm still allowed to complain, okay? Also, who writes emails anymore? Why did we decide to do this?

Is it stupid to say that I miss you already? I know it's only been a week and classes haven't even started yet. I just finished unpacking this morning. Yeah, yeah. I can already hear you nagging me on how it should've been done the day I got here. You know me, and you know I can't resist a party. They had a few of them to welcome in the new freshmen... and you know how I get when there's free alcohol. To be honest, my hangover is killing me as I write this.

     Send help A.S.A.P.

In other news, I met a few of the people on my floor. They all seem to be stuck up and bitchy so I am LIVING. My roommate is quiet and straight, so there's really nothing exciting there. He's called his girlfriend every morning and they talk for hours. Doesn't he know that I like sleeping in until noon? The nerve of some people. Speaking of talking on the phone for obscene amounts of time, I've been meaning to call you. I'm saying it now so that I will remember to call you tonight. Unless there's another party of course...

Kidding. You know I'm kidding... right? Oh, and another thing, I'm getting closer to officially debuting D.C. I know everyone will love her. And once I introduce her, I promise I'll wash the wig, but you're on your own for dress shopping. As much as I'd love for us to be the same size, I just have a much smaller frame than you. I'll send over the scrapbook and the camera as scheduled.

Until then, I miss you bitch. Hope L.A. is treating you well. I promise you they won't know what hit them. Talk to you soon you fabulous queen!

Leo <3

Hopping up from the computer as quickly as he could, Leo's hands found their way to his forehead. He began massaging his temples, not realizing how much of a headache it was to write a letter... or anything. He hoped he would never have to do such an act ever again. Who came to college to do actual work?

Speaking of college, Leo needed to go down and get his schedule from the counselor. Classes were to officially start on Thursday. Leo had moved in the previous Thursday and spent the entire weekend at all of the welcome parties having what he would call the "real college experience."

Finding the strength to put some pants on—tight-fitting and leopard print, of course—Leo dragged himself to the bathroom to fix his hair. Even a 10 minute trip to the student services building would require every follicle to be perfectly in place.

He wore a large black turtleneck, tucked into his bottoms because that's what the laws of fashion had told him to do. He pored over his rather obscene shoe collection, trying to find the perfect pair for his outfit. Leo always wanted to dress to impress, but today he decided that his black Doc Martens would suffice.

Strutting down the hallway of his dorm, Leo soon found himself in a waiting room to speak with the next available counselor. There were a few other students in line ahead of him, so he chose to play on his phone. There was this new game on the app store that he had heard about before he left Dallas. It was called "Starfish Smash" and he was so obsessed that he told Jayden about it the second he downloaded the game.
