✣ acee ✣

i hated physics, i mean, who wouldn't? i absolutely hated to calculate numbers and listen about gravity, there was nothing interesting there. i entered the room and sat in the way back because for one, i don't like my name to be called, and two, the teacher always make eye contact, which is pretty freaky to me.

like, super freaky.

my chair had countless writings on it, obviously from the ones who sat before me, and i noticed, there was an acee inside a heart. well, isn't that adorable.

then i heard a cough beside me, "excuse me. you're in my seat." i roll my eyes, how rude. "i'm pretty sure there are other chairs here without someone occupying them."

"but i that's my seat, if you're in class with me, you should know that." he scoffs.

i taunt, "i don't see you're name here."

"i don't see yours either." i looked at him eye to eye, and stared, "what the hell do you want?" i ask, irritated.

"my seat."

"fine!" i stood up and sat on the empty chair beside.

then i murmured, "dick." and i got a chuckle for a reply. "alright!" ms. atkins said infront, "how about we get started?"

"why don't you answer number 3?" calum asked. we were currently working on a seatwork that's absolutely ridiculous with your seatmate, and i learned, that the asshole's name was calum. and that he was a dick over a seat.

"because i suck at understanding the vector direction, dumbass. i'm not great at it."

he groaned, again.

"is groaning the only thing in your vocabulary?" i ask him.

"okay! time's up!" ms. atkins then went around the class to get the papers, and when she was collecting ours, an eyebrow shot up. "why is there no answer on number three?"

"we can't seem to agree on one answer," i smile. "or she just doesn't know how to define the vector direction." calum butted in. i stepped on his foot. "well that's a shocker. calum's does great in physics." she looks at him.

"he's just acting weird today." i smile.

"well, i hope you still have a high score." she said to the both of us.

i exhaled my held breath and looked at calum, who still didn't get over his foot being stepped on. he legit growled, "what the hell was that for, huh?"

and the bell rung.

⌘⌘⌘

i was extremely tired from school work, especially when you had to write a 2 page-long essay, and i wasn't up for anything else. i just want my bed, teen wolf reruns, and nutella; and i'm a happy girl.

"hey, ace!"

i turn to my left, and then to the right. the voice's source was no where to be found. "stacey marice!" it yelled again. i finally spun and to my surprise, jessie, my best friend, was facing me. i groan, what does she want now? "what do you need, jes?"

"i need you to come with me."

my eyes widen in confusion, "what?"

⌘⌘⌘

jessie was known as the pranker in our school, and no one can beat her pranks - she put a mini cooper inside our library once, and i think, no one will ever beat that. she always had countless tricks on her sleeve, the next better than the one before. people never asked why we were the best of friends, we were both prankers, athletic, and outgoing, but only i was musically inclined; jessie was into theatre arts.

"what's with the rush, jes?"

"just shush ace. shush."

"fine."

as we travelled the hallway to who-knows-where, the students in the hallways were smirking, which freaked me out. two things were running on my mind, the first thing is that i was getting murdered and tortured publicly or number two, i did something i wasn't informed of and it put me into trouble.

jessie's grip tightened as we approached the field which had a surrounding crowd of boys and girls - it only intrigued me to push everyone out of the way and make it to the center. "here she is!" someone then yelled. the students were divided into two, creating a path. i turned to look over jessie, giving her the what the hell is happening here? look, and she just smiled.

i walked through hallway-like path which smelled like mixed perfumes. the awful stench made me want to puke, but i guess i have to keep it in.

boys were then holding daisies - my favorite flowers - with notes attached to them. the first one had an A inside a heart, followed by a series of C, E, and another E. France, my best friend, was holding an enormous heart outlined by daisy petals. then girls were holding daisies with the letters L, U, and the girl who held the one with the letter K looked like she wanted to step on my foot, which luckily she didn't do.

and for the last letter, it was the one and only luke hemmings.

i felt blood rush to my cheeks, "h-hey." i managed to stutter.

"hey acee." he smiled.

"so um..uh..well..i..."

i giggle, "never would i have thought that i would see luke hemmings, captain of the basketball team, an arrogant bastard, stutter the hell out of his soul."

he laughed. "would you like to go out on a date with me?"

well that was unexpected.

"never would i have thought that i would see acee thompson, the world figure skating champion runner-up, a fearless little bitch who had every nasty comment to blurt, be speechless as hell."

"fuck off, luke."  i say playfully.

"so, how about that date?"

"when and where?"

"i guess i'll just see you then." he finally smirks.

and just like on qeue, the people who surrounded us squealed like there was no tomorrow.
