A nod? I'll kill him. Like really? Not even a proper hello? I mean I waved, but that was better then some fucking nod. Girls find that sexy, a majority of girls find that sexy if done by the right guy and the right way, I mean I AM one of those girls, but that is not a nod I deserved. Who in the hell does he think he i-

"Earth to Bea." Lee stated, her hand waving in front of my face.

"Sorry. I'm just a little tired, what were you saying?"

"I was asking what lunch did you have?" Gen  asked, unlocking her locker.

"A. You?"

"Me too! Jordan has A too, so we'll see you there or are you going to the libraryyyy?" She mocked.

"Fuck youuu. The library is quiet, I like quiet. But I'll come to lunch today."

"Good. Okay so I'll see you then."
She slammed her locker, zipping up her backpack.

I nodded. "Byieee" she said jogging off.

See, that was the proper nod. That was a deserved nod.

Lunch came around quicker than expected. I was one of the few people who had gotten to the lunchroom before the rush started. I sat at the table Gen has been sitting at since freshman year waiting for her and Jordan, that one couple who everyone despises, but prays they'll marry each other one day.
Pulling out my phone I scrolled through twitter as I waited for them, eating the lunch I brought from home.

"Hey Bea." Jordan stated before taking a seat across from me. "How's your day going ?"
He was 5'11, darkskin, cornrows going back, brown almond shaped eyes, and beautiful white teeth. In my opinion his teeth was his best feature, his face was his second.

"It's not so bad," I lied. "Yours?"

"Bland. I'm just ready for this shit to be over." He said before taking a sip of his Arizona and staring towards the door.

I laughed, "It's only the first day."

"Right. And it's ass." He turned back to face me. "How was your summer?"

My summer was the best. The best one I've ever had, but today? All of that was ruined. Gone down the fucking drain.
"It could've been better. What about yours?"

"Ah man I had the best summer yet all thanks to Gen," He said before looking at the door again. Waiting for Gen. I smiled. "Where is she anyway?"

"I think she's coming from the third floor. She'll be here before we know it."
As soon as those words left my mouth, Gen came through the door, and following behind her was no other then Noah himself, and next to him was Evelyn. His ex. She was 5'2, fair skinned, black wavy hair to the middle of her back, really nice eyebro- wait hold up. What is this. Their holding hands? What the fuck.
All of a sudden it was like a movie scene. Everything around me turned slow as they continued to walk in. Noah looked at me before looking straight ahead as if I didn't exist.

What did I do?
