Dear Kacey,
Today was a good day. It wasn’t horrendous like the usual, thank God for that. I wouldn’t say I didn’t think about Luke though because that would just be a seriously big lie. The lie would be so obvious you can't even count it as a lie anymore. It'd be more likely called a fail attempt. However, I can say that Kays, my younger sister, helped me get through the day better. Better than my usual days when I’m over my head worrying about Luke.
As my sister, she thought that it was a must to make me feel better. She thought it was part of her job description as a sister.
Well, she thought right.
Today was an exception for Kays though. Today, she knew I needed someone to be with me so I wouldn’t end up locking myself in my room and think about Luke. Over thinking leads to horrible things, I tell you.
She knew I needed my sister. And she couldn’t be more right.
I guess this probably doesn’t happen to most siblings. You know, the getting along real well. It's just that my sister and I are really close. We can tell each other anything. Of course we used to be closer when we were younger but we still make time for each other and spend the day together. Kind of like what she just did today.
Kaysily Christiana Gold. My own little sister had actually canceled her plans with her friends. Just to be with her ‘overdramatic-sister-who-can’t-stop-thinking-about-her-boyfriend-who-is-just-on-vacation-for-just-a-month’. Okay so she probably didn’t say that but I bet her friends are thinking about it. Thinking, not saying, Kc cause they know Kays would freak if she hears them talk bad about her sister. The same goes for me if anyone would talk bad about Kays. See, we have some sisterly love.
(Although she does suck at giving gifts. Remember, Kc? She gave me a pen for my birthday. It’s the thought that counts right?)
I told her she didn’t have to cancel her plans but she insisted. I miss her a lot so I didn’t argue with her anymore. We haven't had a sister-to-sister bonding day for a long time already.
So for today, we ended up doing what we used to do.
We pigged out on junk food, watched TV and some old movies we used to watch together, and also played a bunch of board games. We also made quite a lot of cookies. Of course, we also couldn’t end our bonding time without dancing and singing through our current favorite songs.
In a simpler way of explaining what we did, we messed around and did whatever we thought would end up fun. And everything did end up fun. I’m totally thankful for this day.
Wait, holdup, Kc, I just realized you don’t know how Kays looks like. Okay actually you have no idea who Kays is. Excluding the fact she’s my sister and she just spent time with me the whole day.
Anyway.
Kaysily Christiana Gold, better known as Kays, is my younger sister. She celebrates her birthday on the 25th of March and she’s absolutely mental. She’s crazy weird. Seriously. But she's really fun to be with. She's loyal and everything and she's my first best friend. Always have been and always will be.
