Are gems under White Diamond, they are weapons makers and machinists. Our lead Obsidian here, is tasked with creating a new weapon to use against gem kind. These gems vary in size and have the unique ability to take objects from inside another gems well...gem.
They are able to do this because in the process of harvesting gems, they need to remove gems personal affects from inside them before the gem is harvested. They use the properties of gems to create weaponry and an hyper advanced technology.
