25th December 2018
Hyunjin just finishes listening to her old friend's recorder. She peeks through the window and catch a small figure jumping up and down waving to her. Precisely, it's Yeojin calling for her.
Hyunjin opens the window, regretting a second after that. Yeojin already shouting, "C'mon unnie the others already waiting there."
She quickly changes from her pajamas to casual clothes. Not forgetting to bring the recorder with her before going out.
Minutes of walk passed by and there's mommy Haseul and kid Yeojin with her sister, Vivi waiting for her, beneath the tree on the grass field. But one is missing.
"Heejin-ah, I miss you." Hyunjin sits down first in front of the tree where Heejin used to sit and enjoy the sunset.
"We miss you." Followed by the other three. They bring snacks and presents for each other.
"Merry Christmas Heejin."
So, great news. Jungkook has been arrested. Taehyung's and Hyunjin's parents was also found hiding somewhere. Both the Kim and Jeon Gangs are officially 'out of order'. Peace is back.
"Hey guys, are we late?!"
Jinsoul's loud voice surprise them. Jungeun and Yerim only walks with smiles on their faces. Plus one more person, Taehyung it is.
Now they're all 'complete'.
They chit chat all the afternoon filled with laughters and foods. They exchange presents for Christmas. And sometimes they'll listen to Heejin's recorder just to remember the past.
"Let's go to the basecamp!" Yerim suggests. The 'treasure' isn't exactly all money. It's an underground basecamp where they could enjoy their time together.
Heejin's parents wants her daughter to be happy. They wish she could make some friends and be happy with her life. They don't want their kids to be like them, to choose the wrong path. But it's too late for one of them, who's blinded by money.
Like they said, money can't buy everything.
"Heejin, thanks. We all hope you could spend more time with us here. Guess faith already have something else. "
"Hyunjin-ah! Let's go!"
"Once again, thanks!"
