Have you ever been dragged along somewhere by a friend when you didn't really want to go?That's exactly what happened to me today and it has been officially the weirdest day of my life. It all started when my friend Chloe won two tickets+backstage passes to a Calpurnia concert for their show in Toronto the 27 of September. She absolutely freaked out and I was so happy for her until she asked me to go with her. Don't get me wrong I like Calpurnia I'm just not obsessed with them like Chloe and so many other people are. Plus a Calpurnia concert means hysterical screaming young girls which personally I find kinda annoying cause I just wanna go and enjoy the music. Anyway I agreed to go because Chloe is my best friend in the world and I know it would make her happy. She also has this big crush on Finn and I wanna be there when she meets him.
Friday 2 September,
What am I supposed to wear to a Calpurnia concert? Chloe is going all fangirl wearing a Calpurnia hoodie, Calpurnia beanie hat, Calpurnia bracelets to be honest I'm surprised she's not wearing Calpurnia socks! In the end I'm wearing my big black hoodie ( which is the COMFIEST thing I own) a pair of ripped jeans and my hair done up in a messy bun. Yeah I'm basic. I'm putting on lipstick ( which is literally the only make up I'm wearing) when Chloe comes in to my room.
"Come onnnn Izzy we've got to go bow or we'll be late!"
" I'm coming I'm coming calm down
" I can't calm down I'm meeting FINN WOLFHARD!!"
Did I mention that Chloe is absolutely gorgeous she's literally got model girl looks and every guy she meets literally has a crush on her so I wouldn't be surprised if Finn was the same. Me on the other hand I'm cute I can say that about myself but I'm bot drop dead gorgeous like Chloe.
It's 8pm and we are just taking are place in front of the stage (first row) and I think Chloe is gonna have a heart attack!!
" Omg, omg , omg Finn is gonna be right in front of us in less than a minute!!!"she shouts.
I laugh and say " Chloe he's just a person you know that right?"
"No he's not he's a god!"she says.
I didn't get a chance to respond because at that moment Calpurnia came on stage and Finn( who by the way like Chloe said is literally right in front of us) says:
" What's up Toronto!"
And I almost go deaf with all the screams.
