mm..kay .

now they're on their way to another part of the city that probably will result them on not going to school tomorrow. its currently 12 am, and they are still in the middle of nowhere in the highway road.

"we can rest at the resting area nearby," said doyoung. "like, i dont want you to force yourself and i dont wanna die now too,"

"uh sarcastic," jaehyun rolled his eyes. doyoung giggled.

following what doyoung said, they stopped by at a rest area.

"lets buy something," said jaehyun.

jaehyun and doyoung get off the car, heading to the main building that sells lots of good things. but most of the shops are closed. they manage to access a convenience store and buy some food and drink, until doyoung stopped jaehyun from taking some coffee.

"no, you must get some sleep," said doyoung. he gave jaehyun a tea instead.
"i dont like tea," said jaehyun.
"this .. ?" doyoung show him the sweets that he used to give jaehyun in the past.

jaehyun was speechless. ever since that incident, he kinda stopped consuming sweets, especially the one that doyoung usually slipped under his table.

his mom is surprised because jaehyun is no longer asking her to buy some sweets, its terrifying. also a relief because she no longer needs to be really worried about jaehyun getting a diabetes. (he's seriously an addict)

doyoung take the tea from jaehyun's hand and pay for the things that they buy and slipped out from the store.  jaehyun snapped and go out too.

doyoung sits on one of the tables outside and opening his food which is a pack of gummy bear.

"why'd you left me," jaehyun breathes are audible. small huffs.

"you're zoning out, so i just leave," said doyoung as he chew some more gummy bear.

jaehyun pouted and take a few gummy bears from doyoung.

"why do you like me ..?" jaehyun mumbled but doyoung managed to hear it clearly. he stopped chewing the gummy and stay like that for a while.

jaehyun snapped out, realizing that doyoung zoned out. "doyoung ?"

"doyoung why are you crying ?" jaehyun panicked.

"h-huh ?" doyoung felt the tears come out from his eyes. "w-why am i crying,"

jaehyun pulled him to a tight embrace.

"just let it out," said jaehyun.

"i- i dont want to remember it .. it hurts," doyoung sobs.

and its because of you dummy.

they are now in the car, doyoung is sleeping peacfully at the backseat. jaehyun really wants to sleep but his mind prevents him as he kept thinking about what made doyoung cry earlier.

"did i say something .." jaehyun sighed.

he played some lofi songs through his car radio and leaned his body back. his phone screen lit up.

look who's making an effort here pfft

jaehyun sighed and lock his phone. he kinda relieved that doyoung told him not to drink coffee because his body felt so heavy now.

doyoung wake up after got a flash of a sunlight on his face and got himself a nice bump sound as he hit his head to the door because he stretch his body.
