2:45 a.m.
"Scream and you get it" a female voice said threateningly. I tried to move my hands, but they had been tied behind my back.
"Come on Olivia, do you really have to do this?" a male voice asked from behind me. I clenched my fists and held in the urge to scream.
"Shut up Jesse, no one asked for your opinion" the female voice hissed. I swallowed hard and tried to move my face so my blindfold could come off. I heard a car motor running and I could feel that I was inside of a moving vehicle. The car stopped moving suddenly, causing me to fall forward and hit myself on a wall-like object.
"Whoops, sorry" the female voice said, not sounding apologetic at all.
"Open the door Jesse" the female said. A door opened, and a cool breeze hit me. My blindfold was suddenly pulled off. I blinked hard, my eyes adjusting to the brightness..well it was dark, but not as dark as it was with the blindfold. There they stood. My kidnappers. One was a girl about my age with a young, pale face and big brown eyes. She had red hair like Ariel the Mermaid and was absolutely beautiful. The other was a pale guy (my age too) with brown hair and brown eyes. He was built and pretty handsome.
"Hi Alexandria" the girl said. I stared at the two hard. Who were they and how did they know who I was?
"Okay so here's the deal, break up with Justin and we let you go" the girl said. The guy looked around impatiently.
"What? Who the heck are you to be telling me how to deal with my relationships?" I asked irritatedly.
"I'm Olivia, and this is Jesse. We're Justin's vampire friends" the girl said shrugging. I looked at the guy.
"I'm not breaking up with Justin anytime soon" I said stubbornly.
"Okay...Well then Jesse here will just drain you of all your blood and dump you in the frozen pond" she said. I quickly looked at the pond. The same pond Justin took me to on our anniversary. I stared at the two in disbelief.
"What?!" I asked. Olivia turned to look at Jesse.
"Jesse?" she said nodding. He started towards me, his fangs ready to suck the life out of me. My heart was racing. What should I do?!
"No wait!" I blurted out. Jesse stopped and looked at Olivia. I let out a long sigh, not being able to believe that I was about to say what I was. "I'll break up with Justin" I said. Olivia raised an eyebrow at me.
"What?" she asked me.
"I said I'll break up with him. You don't have to kill me" I said looking at the floor. Jesse looked at me in disbelief.
"Great" Olivia said, satisfied. "Let her go Jesse" she said and turned to leave.
"I hope you don't mention any of this to Justin. We could kill that newbie in an instant" she said skipping away.
"For the record, I don't agree with any of this" Jesse said, untying me.
"Good to know" I said rubbing my sore arms. I hopped down from the back of the van and started walking towards my house.
"Are you sure you don't want a ride home?" Jesse offered.
"No" I said stiffly. "I need time to think" I muttered, not looking back at him. I heard the snow crunching behind me and knew that Jesse was beside me.
"Well it would be completely against my morals to leave a young lady to walk home alone" he said frowning.
"Don't you need to go back to your van or something?" I asked irritatedly, wanting to be alone so I could think about how I was possibly going to break up with Justin.
"It's not mine" he said. I turned to look at Jesse. "Grand theft auto..someone will find it eventually" he said shrugging. I sighed and continued on walking, hugging myself for warmth.
"Well your fingerprints are clearly on the wheel..maybe they'll find you and lock you away so I could stay with Justin" I muttered.
"Well..fingerprints are the marks of the oil on your fingers..and we vampires don't have oily hands...so nope. It'd be as if the driver was wearing gloves" Jesse said shrugging. I began walking on the side of the road
"Don't break up with Justin..Olivia is being stupid" Jesse said suddenly. I looked at him.
"I think it needs to happen" I said stiffly. "I'd rather not be kidnapped by vampires again" I said shaking my head.
"I only did this because I owed Olivia" he said. "I'll tell Justin she did this" he offered.
"Why did she do this?" I asked curiously.
"She has a small obsession with being with Justin"
