2:35 p.m.

Days, weeks, months flew by and Justin got closer to Olivia. Although it broke my heart, I also noticed I was getting closer to Jesse. He was a really cool guy after all. I felt like Jesse was closer to me than Gracie. Well mostly because he knew about vampires and whatnot.

And...well Gracie sort of has a boyfriend now..a kid named Logan. And uh..he's sorta best friends with my ex..so Gracie has to choose between sitting with me at lunch, or going out to eat with Justin, Logan and Olivia.

She had invited me to come along a bunch of times but I said I was going home for lunch. It was sort of true..well no actually it was a lie

Gracie should've thought that I didn't wanna be around Justin and his new girl friend. Not girlfriend...girl friend. She hadn't meant it to be rude, actually the opposite. After a while she stopped offering and even telling me that she was going out to lunch. Me and Jesse couldn't really eat lunch everyday like Justin could with Olivia because we went to different schools.

Jesse and Olivia went to some fancy private school exclusively for vampires. Anyone who didn't know about vampires would think it was a school just for geniuses or something. I wasn't sure why Justin never bothered to transfer there though..

Well Justin and Olivia went to different schools too.. I wasn't sure exactly how Olivia did it, but she managed to have lunch with Justin every day!

On Friday's, me and Jesse had lunch at the same time so he agreed to meet me for lunch. When it started to get warmer out, me and Jesse started meeting at a small shed he built a while ago near the school. He had his motorcycles and tools there. It was pretty cool watching him fix his motorcycles while I ate.

The bell rung suddenly, cutting into my thoughts. To us teenagers, this only meant one thing..the official start of Spring Break.

"I am so excited! This is going to be the best Spring Break ever!" Gracie said excitedly. I had heard her talk about this since she found out about it herself. She was going to Cancun with Logan and his family. "So what are you doing over break?" she asked me. I shrugged.

"I don't know yet" I said. She smiled apologetically.

"Aw, well I hope you figure that out soon. I should get going, I need to finish packing. Bye!" she said and left. I walked towards my locker and put my backpack inside, not seeing the point of taking it home. I walked into the parking lot where everyone was planning out their Spring Break or bragging about it. I turned to start walking towards my house when I saw him.

He was sitting in the passenger side of her red convertible, completely sucking her lips off. Justin? I felt my heart break into a million pieces. Remember what I said earlier about Olivia being a girl friend and not a girlfriend? Never mind.

I quickly looked away, feeling my eyes tearing up.

"I was hoping you wouldn't see that" Jesse's voice came from behind me. I turned and saw him standing on the sidewalk, attempting to smile at me.

"It's whatever" I lied. It was not, under any circumstance 'whatever'. We began walking away from the scene and towards our usual walking route.

"How about I give you a ride home to clear your mind of what you just witnessed?" he offered. I looked at him.

"Oh my God, you got a car?" I asked, my eyes wide.

"No, even better" he said and stopped walking.

"Ta-da!" he said, modeling beside it like a sales person. I stared at it, my eyes wide.
