ONE MORE CHAPTER LEFT.

ENJOY!

I don't ever wanna lose my baby

But this pain just drives me crazy

Feels like I'm goin' insane

But I gotta be strong 'cause it will rain

It will rain (Some times there will be pain)

There'll be pain (Some times troubles will come)

Trouble will come (Oh...well, you gotta)

Understand (Oh, count it on joy)

Count it on joy (Oh...yeah)

Mornin' will come (After the rain)

The sun will shine (So keep your head up)

Keep your head high ('cause God will take care of you)

It will rain (Oh, yes, He will)

There'll be pain (Some times there will be pain)

Trouble will come (Oh...whoa...ho...)

Understand (Count it on joy)

Count it on joy (Oh...ho...)

Mornin' will come (After the rain it will)

The sun will shine (The sun will shine)

Keep your head high (Ooh...ooh...ooh...)

It will rain....

Over the next couple of days she never showed up. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and months turned into years. It was just us two. My dad never even looked at another woman again. He turned into a cold hearted man. If you weren't friends or family he didn't give a fuck. It's fucked up that my mom left us, but you have to go through the storm before the sun shine.

I'm now 15 years old. I had already gave up on my mom. It made no sense crying over spilled milk. Pops decided we should move back to his hometown so he sold our old house and we moved back.

I can't wait to see my grandma. She even started dating again, but Pops don't know. I know all hell going to break loose when we get there tonight.

"Pops come on before we late." I yelled.

SMACK!

"Don't be yelling in my damn house boy." He said as I rubbed my head. I didn't even hear him walk in the room. He grabbed his keys and I followed behind him.

"GRANDMA!" I yelled walking in the house.

"Nigga yell again." Pops said.

"Leave my baby alone." Pops kissed his teeth before sitting down. I stuck my tongue out at him. Our father-son relationship is good. We talk about everything.

Grandma and I went in the kitchen. This lady my rock. She there for me even when I don't ask her to be. She's the mother figure in my life now.

"Who the fuck is this?" We hear Pops yell. We run from the kitchen to the living room. He had a gun pointed at grandma boyfriend.

"King put the gun down." Grandma said.

"Who is this nigga that just walked up in here like he owned the place?" He asked.

"He's my finacé." She said walking over to him. Pops face didn't hold any emotions to it. Pops just put his gun down. He didn't say anything he just pulled out his phone and went to doing something. It got awkward just standing there not saying anything. Pops didn't even spare him a second glance.

"Let's eat." Grandma said.

We all sat around the table eating quietly. Mari kept clearing his throat.

"Mari this is my son King and my grandson Josiah." Grandma said. I just said wassup. Shit what could I say?

Mari?

Finacé?

I don't know this nigga. Why she didn't tell me about this? I don't trust nobody that ain't family or who I grew up with. I don't trust him and I don't trust no woman, unless I know you.

Point. Blank. Period.

We had finally left my momma house. Shit was just awkward. We had to stop by Wal-Mart to buy Siah something he said he needed. As I drove my mind drifted to Queen. I gritted my teeth. My grip on the wheel tightened until my knuckles turned white.

"Dad! DAD!" Siah yelled. I snapped out my thoughts.

"My bad. What did you say?"

"I asked what's wrong?" He said. I shook my head.

"Nothing." I could feel his eyes on me, but I chose to ignore it.

I can't figure out what I did wrong to make her leave me. Shit leave Siah. This all just fucked up.
