Ghost Rider: Hells Journey

School of Hell

Shadow had won. Chase was dead. Hope...was lost. In three moths after the death of Chase a lot had changed in the school. Instead of a school where one could go to learn and to have fun, had become a school that had been enslaved by Shadow and his demons.

Lisa and the other Riders were punished severely for the "crime" of being a Rider. The school had essentially became. A school from hell. If you didn't pledge allegiance to Shadow, you were felled where you stood. Many students lives were claimed in the process, now many lived in fear.  No longer were you allowed to leave the school of your own free will, demons patrolled the borders of the school acting like watchful sentries over the gates.

Lisa sat alongside Chloe and Ember in the library of the school hiding away from the watchful eyes of Shadow and his minions. Alas this was all that was left of the Riders, Sasha and Brent were murdered not long after Chase had died. They had attempted to kill Shadow to rid the school of his power, but they were caught and executed in front of the whole school. The memory shook them to their core.

(Lisa) My Dad says that he has reached out to other schools across the world. They've been taken over by Shadow's forces as well! At this rate, we are all royally fucked!

(Ember) Yeah but what are we gonna be able to do about it? You saw what they did to Brent and Sasha! I can't lose you guys as well.

(Chloe) I agree with Ember, we should play it safe. Stay on Shadow's good side until someone can kick him to the curb.

(Lisa) Okay....guys I think I have a way out of this place.

(Ember/Chloe) What!?

(Lisa) Remember the night that Chase fought all those demons in the forest?

(Chloe) Yeah I remember, Chase came back all weird telling you to stay away.

(Lisa) My dad found his car in the forest and brought it back, he's keeping it in the catacombs. It works...I say tonight we go to the catacombs and escape this place. There is an exit that would leave us ten miles away from the school.

(Chloe) And you are only mentioning this now because?

(Lisa) Because I have no choice....

Ember and Chloe looked to each other with concerned looks on their faces. They way she was talking was as if she were about to die. But that wasn't possible...was it?

(Ember) What's going on?

(Lisa) My father came to me...Shadow is claiming me as his bride.

(Chloe) No! He can't do that!

(Lisa) He can, he defeated my former lover in combat by our laws I am obliged to marry him...he only wants me because I am the next leader of the underworld. When my father hands the throne to me...I will be the most powerful vampire in the world. That's what Shadow wants. Power.

(Ember) I say we leave then. If we continue to the catacombs tonight we should be able to escape easy.

The bell rang signalling that it was the end of lunch and for them to make their way to class. Lisa sighed and hugged her friends good-bye. She would catch up with them later about their plan for escape. Lisa walked into the classroom and found even more empty seats. More lives are lost today, she thought to herself as she took her seat. Shadow sauntered in and took a seat next to Lisa casting her a smirk as he did so. A demon, much like the one in the forest walked into the classroom, he set down a bloodied sword onto the teacher's desk with a clang.

(Demon) I shall be teaching your lesson today as Lord Shadow decrees it.

Lisa looked over to Shadow who was leaning back in his chair with a smirk on his face. He glanced over to Lisa and gave her a wink and a grin. She immediately turned her attention to the front ignoring the stares that Shadow cast upon her, soon she would have her freedom.
