After her mother abandons her in the midst of a war, Olya hopes they'll never see each other again. A possibility that becomes all too real when Olya is inexplicably captured by an enemy soldier. In a world plagued by infertility and facing potential extinction, the remaining few women who can have children are hoarded by the government and given the title of
"Daughter of the King."
