A floor below them, Crimson was in the kitchen making dinner when two arms wrapped around her and a pair of soft lips pressed against her neck. Crimson turned her head to face her mate, who had her hair up in a messy bun with both of her eyes showing
"guess what" said Lupe with a sweet and tender voice.
Crimson replied with "what is it lu?" before getting back to cooking.
"The girls uncles are coming over in two days" Lupe answered, while pulling away from her partner and walking over to the cabinet pulling out a large amount of plates and setting them down on the table. "THATS GREAT, does the pack know?" Crimson said with excitement.
"no, not yet im going to tell them at dinner, speaking of which..." Lupe left a small pause before the next thing she said. Lupe walked towards a button, pressing it and saying "alright Everyone dinner is ready so get moving before it's all gone" a fun little thing about the building they live in all the rooms on the second floor and are attached; all of Lupe's pack live on that floor. The first to get to the table were the kids, then Marcus, Connor and Lizzy and the rest of the pack arrived shortly after the Trio arrived

~a couple of minutes later~
"OH shut up!! I did not do that!!" Lucy shouted at Lizzy
"YES YOU DID!!!"Lizzy shouted back while laughing
"wait,so you're telling me that you FOUND LUCY DRESSED As LOKI SINGING LET IT GO?!?!" H asked in laughter and shock "that's not even the best part" said Charles before raising to a yell " SHE DRESSED UP AS FROST GIANT LOKI!"
Lupe started remembering the time Marcus was caught wearing a Hatsune Miku costume while dancing with Tracy who was dressed as molly Hooper, Lupe decided to share with memory later once everyone finished their meal Lupe stood up and spoke
"Alright two things: one, we have three hours to get ready for the show, and two, the uncles are coming over in two days" the last sentence made everyone at the table scream with excitement.

Soon after everyone had broke off to tell the guests to get ready. An hour into preparations Lupe and the kids were dressed; Lupe had her hair quickly curled out of her face but had a half broken mask hiding her eye and cheek,she had thick high heel boots with ripped black pants, fishnet tights underneath along with a black lace crop top with flowers and diamond patterns, the underlayer beneath being a blood red. Luna had a colourful dress with allsorts of patterns As for baby sunny, he had a nice shirt and black trousers with bracers to match, and a baker boy cap neatly tucked on his head

When crimson was nearly finished getting dressed Lupe decided to pay her respects
and when she reached the room she heard crying though the door. She began to slowly open the door
"Hey Lizzy is there room for one more?" Lupe said while walking through the door with care.
"H-hey lu" Lizzy said while wiping tears, when Lupe sat next to Lizzy she let out a little sigh
"It's already been 8 months since Kailey died and it still feels like yesterday when we found out that she was pregnant!" Lupe felt Lizzy's head fall on her arm and simply placed her own head on hers
"Why do people have to die?"Lizzy asked trying not to cry more than she already has
"So people don't have to be scared anymore" was Lupe's reply.

The way she said that, you could tell that she lost more than most fifteen year olds are meant to lose. "Are you scared of dying?"asked Lizzy trying hold back tears. "No" the alpha answered without hesitation "are you?" Lizzy just kept staring at the wall.
"Yes" answered Lupe with fear in her voice "only brave people will tell you when their scared of something, that's why you're so great don't forget that" She'd been saying this while moving her arm to give Lizzy a gentle side hug and they just sat in silence for a couple of seconds before Lizzy got up and walked over to the wall. She started to trace her fingers along the portrait of a woman in her early 20's with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair in a ponytail she had lightly tanned skin.
"Thirteen" Lupe simply said
"what?"Lizzy asked while turning away from the painting on the wall
"Thirteen portraits are in here,and only two of them were separate from the pack, the rest are dead family members of our pack" Lupe explained with a emotionless expression
"Why didn't I know this? I was here since the beginning!" Lizzy exclaimed trying to figure out why she never knew until Lupe answered
"you never listened, after all you were in your 'i hate humanity and everything should burn' phase" answered the alpha while moving to another person's portrait and letting out a soft chuckle, it was then that Lupe realized that she was crying.

"I think it time we get fixed up" Lizzy said placing her hand on Lupe's shoulder "yeah,I fucking hate this outfit" Lupe spoke with a soft voice.
"why are you wearing it then!?" Asked the Beta in a bizarre tone
"have you met my girlfriend?" Lupe simply asked already knowing the answer. Lizzy opened her mouth to say something before shutting it closed then opened her mouth again with a gasp
"I KNOW JUST THE OUTFIT YOU'LL LOVE" and before Lupe could say another word Lizzy was already getting dragging her to the door.
