soon as I made it to the master bedroom i saw Derek packing his stuff . i thought i could handle this because i have done this plenty of times before to August . so all i did was act like it didnt bother me
Derek - *packing*
Ashanti - *walks over to the dresser & leans on it* where are you going Derek ?
Derek - *ignores her*
Ashanti - *laughs* you are crazy , unpack your stuff Derek . come on I'll help you *walks up to him & grabs a shirts put the suitcase*
Derek - *gets even madder* dont touch my stuff Ashanti
Ashanti - *grabs another shirt & puts it back in the drawer*
Derek - I SAID DONT TOUCH MY SHIT , DIDNT I ? *slap her*

when Derek hit me i was so in shock . all i could do was stand there in disbelief .
Ashanti - *starts crying & holding her face* you hit me Derek , you told you would never put you hands on me
Derek - *runs up to Ashanti & picks her up* im so sorry baby , it was just a reflex . * lays her on the bed* listen how about i take care of the girl for the rest of the night , and i cook for you . all you have to do is lay here and do nothing *sounding sincere* okay baby all you have to do is lay here *tries to kiss her*
Ashanti - *ignores him & dodges his kiss*
Derek - *stares at her*
Ashanti - *turns the other way* i can't believe you Derek *sniffs*
Derek - i am sorry babe , imma make it up to you .. i promise *leaves*

you would think in 6 months i would forget about the August incident i would just forget about it , but after what happened today it just replays in my head all day . Derek has been coming up here bothering me and trying to feed me all day but all i do is ignore him . its like everytime i put my faith in a man , my heart ends up on the ground broken to peices .
Derek - *walks in the room* Look Ashanti , i know right about now you dont wanna talk to me . but , i just wanted to let you know the girls are sound asleep and you food is downstairs in the microwave if you get hungry .
Ashanti - *ignores him*
Derek - *sighs & gets up* i promise i will make it up baby i apoligize *kisses her forehead and leaves*
😒 10 mins later 😒

after about 10 mins later i heard Derek grab his keys & the door shut so I figured he was gone . after i made sure only me and my girls were home i went down stair found something to snack on out the pantry , came back up got my girls & put them in the guest room , and i got my stuff out the master bedroom and went in the guest room with my girls making sure i locked the door .
