"Give it back," I seethed.

He dangled my shoe above his head and still completely out of my reach. I jumped and tried to grab it without success, He observed my futile efforts with an amused grin playing on his lips.

"Seriously. I'm not kidding around. Give it to me!" I flushed to the very roots of my hair as I realized the innuendo. His eyes turned a shade darker as he said "You know I will." He smirked, "I just want to hear you say it one more time."

I groaned, "You are never going to let this go are you?" His smirk was the only answer I needed.

I stomped my shoe-less foot on the ground feeling like a disgruntled two-year-old throwing a tantrum. Suddenly he was smiling at me, taking a step closer, just barely lowering the shoe to my reach. I shifted uncomfortably under his icy blue gaze. "What?"

"You are just so freaking cute."

I blushed. "Right. That's something that every girl wants to hear. That they're cute." Suddenly, my view of the world tilts, his hand on my shoulder bringing me down. I land in a dizzy on top of him, my shoe still in his grip, I shift trying to reach for it, not bothering to figure out what just happened, he shifts his body. Flipping me over onto my back, my legs hooked on his waist. The shoe long forgotten as we just stare at each other. My mind blank of all things other than just him, him and the way that the cocky smirk is gone and it's just the two of us. The rest of the world fades, he's the only thing I see and I'm the only one thing he sees. he's beautiful and so... right. Taking a deep breathe, not sure what to do.

"Do you think-"

"All the time. I'm a good thinker you know." Forget what I said. He's still cocky.

My eyes narrow as I huff, "That's not what I was meaning. Do you think-"

"Yep."

"Will you quit that! I'm trying to ask you something."

Raising his eyes he singsongs, "Ask away."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"Ugh, now I forgot what I was going to ask!" I push against his arm, not wanting to be near him, he doesn't budge. I glower as he just keeps staring at me. Fidgeting and taking my legs off of his waist I try to shift from underneath him, his arms only tighten around me. "I hate you! Now get off of me." I punch at his chest, his hand reaches down, clasping my wrists in his, holding them against my chest, daring me to break free.

He leans in, so carefully. Breathing in and not breathing. Hearts beating between us and he's so close, he's so close that I can't feel my legs anymore. I can't feel my fingers or the cold or the emptiness of this room because all I feel is him, everywhere, filling everything and he whispers

"Please." He says, "Please don't kick me for this."

And then he kisses me.

His lips are softer than anything I've ever know, soft like a first snowfall, like biting into cotton candy, like melting and floating and being weightless in water. It's sweet and it's so effortlessly sweet. He pulls back, just barely, giving me the chance to end this. I move my hand from the grip he has and his body tenses unsure of what is to happen next.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that I-" his voice hoarse he slowly starts to sit up.

I bring my hand to his hair, feeling the wispiness of his short hair, putting pressure on his head, having him lie back down on me. I lick my lips, drawing his attention back to them.

I huskily whisper back "Kiss me."

He stays still, like a dear caught in head lamps.

"Please."

His lips come crashing down on mine without a second of thought, my hands move through his hair, groaning his name into his lips.

"Daniel."

He hums, kissing back, his brow furrowing as he deepens the kiss, licking my bottom lip as his hand stay on my waist staying close to my waistband. The other hand moves up to my face, his thumb running over my lips. I nip at it,  he pulls it back only to cup the back of my neck. Firey passion connects us, differnet than our first.. By a lot. I open my mouthb granting him access as our tounges flick and dance with one another. His lips movve mine, moving to start kissing my jaw, kissing all the way up until he reaches my earlobe, he nips it like I did with his thumb. I groan pulling him closer.

He looks up at me then ignoring my whine of disaprovement.

"Wow... That was... amazing" His face transforms as it lights up with his smile. I feel my ears turn beat red.

"Well, now you know I don't hate you." I taunt.

"No" He responds solemnly, "You love me."
