It was early in the morning when Marinette's mom woke her up. "Good morning hunny" her mom said with a smile on her face. "You need to leave soon so you better hurry!" Marinette got up "huh? why exactly am I leaving? And where am I going?" She asked confused, her mom laughed "you're supposed to meet Alya at the old tree in about 10 minutes" her mom said as she walked down the stairs.
The old tree is the biggest tree in the enchanted woods, it's Marinette and Alya's hangout spot, they always meet there when they have something important to discuss or just for fun. "Wait.. but that means that.. IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!" Marinette said as she looked through her closet for her school uniform, she got dressed quickly and ran downstairs. She grabbed a croissant from the table "hmm, freshly baked" she smiled "thanks dad!" She grabbed her broomstick and opened the door. Her dad stopped her from walking out "don't you want to sit down first?" Her dad asked. "Sorry dad, I've got to meet Alya at the old tree and I'm already late!" She hugged her dad and walked out of the door, she ran down the stairs of her apartment complex and as soon as she got outside she jumped on her broomstick and flew to the enchanted woods.
Marinette wasn't the best at flying and it was about to get even worse when she got a text from Alya, she grabbed her phone while she was still flying and read the text.

As Marinette was replying to Alya's text she wasn't paying attention to the 'road' and crashed into the old tree, she looked down and saw Alya. "I'm here..." Marinette said and tried to get out of the tree, Alya burst out laughing "oh my god you are so clumsy Mari" Alya said and helped Marinette.
When both of the girls were standing on the ground again Alya immediately began to tell Marinette about something she heard. "Okay Marinette, so, this is what I found out" Alya said "Remember when I told you about that one warlock school who couldn't accept more students since it was completely full?" Marinette nodded "well, they are sending those warlocks to witch academy's" Alya said with excitement "Okay.. but why is that so exciting?" Marinette asked "Oh my god are you THAT oblivious?" Alya shrugged "THEY ARE SENDING THEM TO CORDELIA'S!" Marinette gasped "Oh my god! Warlocks at Cordelia's?!"
