Alya nodded "I know right!! Isn't it crazy?" Marinette smiled "that's so cool! I hope the boys are nice tho" she said and got on her broomstick, Alya did the same "alright let's go" Alya said and they flew to the academy.
They landed on the floor and grabbed their bags "I'm so excited for this new year!" Marinette said "me too" Alya laughed and looked around "looks like we're the first ones to arrive" she said and looked at Marinette, Marinette smiled "let's go to our dorm!!" She wanted to run into the academy but Alya stopped her "oh.. yea uhm Marinette .. something I forgot to tell you.. we aren't going to be in the same dorm this year.." Alya said and looked down. Marinette frowned "wait.. but why?" She asked Alya. She was really confused, why couldn't they be roommates like last year? Maybe they did something wrong last year? Alya sighed "Well, today there's this new girl arriving, she's in the same grade as us and she needs a roommate, Miss Cordelia told me she'd be my roommate and I have to show her around. Apparently she's from a super famous witch family, I believe they're from Italy?" Marinette shrugged "and you believe that?.." she sighed "whatever, where am I sleeping then? All the dorms are already full just like last year" They walked into the academy
"I'll show you!" Alya said and grabbed Marinette's hand, they run down the stairs "but Alya, this is the way to the basement!!" Marinette said as she got dragged into the room, they stopped and Marinette looked around "they cleaned here?" Alya nodded "this is where you'll be sleeping! I know it's not the cosiest but I'm sure you'll like it here, plus it's really big, bigger than our dorms. You'll be sleeping alone tho, but it was either this or being in a room with Chloe Bourgeois"
Alya said and laughed, her phone went on as she got a message
"Oh, the new girl arrived, I'll see you soon!" Alya said as she ran upstairs "Bye!!" Marinette said and waved at Alya. When Alya was gone Tikki came out of Marinette's purse "It's weird to be down here, isn't it Marinette?" Tikki said and flew around a bit
