PERSONALITY: Wendla is an extremely sweet and innocent girl, always seeing the good in everything and everyone. She is rather naive and can be very easily confused at times by rather simple things, but she doesn't mind. She's always willing to learn new things and can become quite frustrated when information is held from her. She's stubborn once she sets her mind to something and won't stop until she gets what she wants. She's optimistic and assumes that everyone is naturally good, not really understanding that there is evil and misery in the world due to her lack of exposure. Because of this, she is extremely trusting, sometimes too much so. She can be a little sensitive at times and can't stand upsetting people. She is always willing to land a hand to someone and try to help them. She's friendly and isn't shy by any means. She doesn't think that there is anyone she couldn't make friends with. She does feel rather frustrated by her disability at times, mostly because it prohibits her from communicating with those who don't put forth effort and it makes it harder for her to learn at the same rate as other students. That being said, she considers being Deaf one of the principle parts of her identity and wouldn't change that for anything. She enjoys teaching just as she much enjoys learning and she wants to spread information about her culture.

FAMILY: Wendla is muggleborn and never knew her father. Her mother was always overprotective and controlling. Wendla has an older sister named Rachel Muller.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS: Wendla was born Deaf and has anemia.

OTHER: Wendla's mother was always extremely strict and overprotective, homeschooling her from a young age. She would create excuses when Wendla began to show signs of magical abilities and told her that she was completely normal. She didn't want Wendla to have any knowledge of the magical world and tried to hide it from her even after she found out for herself. She homeschooled her daughter instead of sending her to Hogwarts for the first two years of her education, but it became clear that she wasn't actually educating her daughter and the school insisted that Wendla began attending. Wendla started attending Hogwarts in her third year, becoming friends with Peter Pettigrew quite quickly.

WHAT HAPPENS TO HER: Wendla married Peter Pettigrew, having no idea that he was a Death Eater. Shortly after their marriage, she gives birth to a daughter named Marianna. However, a year after Merianna was born, Peter tried to leave the death eaters. In return for this, Voldemort came to his house, killing Wendla and permanently injuring Merianna. The threat against his daughter's life was what made Peter agree to betray James and Lily.
