Chapter 40 Battle Of Hogwarts

Snape's Pov

I keep trying to make the potion to wake Y/N again but it's not working. Nothing is working everything I try to wake her up again it's not working.

Harry's Pov

"He did save our lives twice. Kept an eye on us on that mirror," Hermione pointed out. "That doesn't seem like someone who's given up," Hermione whispers. I looked away' she might be right but how come Y/N never talked about the rest of her family?'

"She's coming back," Hermione said. "Who's with her?" Ron curiously asked as she came closer and closer. 

I back up a bit as the portrait opens "Neville," I sigh in relief.  "Oh you look...," Like hell, I reckon," Ron cuts me off. "This is nothing. Seamus is worse. Hey, Ab, we've got a couple of more coming through," Neville said.

"Don't remember this on the Marauders Map," Ron said."That's because it never existed until now. The seven secret passages were sealed off before the start of the school year. This is the way in and out now," Neville replied.

"The grounds are crawling with Death Eaters and  Dementors," Neville explains. "How bad is Snape as headmaster?" Hermione curiously asked.

"Hardly ever see him. It's the carrows you need to watch out for," Neville explains. "Carrows?" I curiously asked. "Yeah. Brother and sister. In charge of discipline. They like punishment, the Crows," Neville says.

"They did that to you? Why?" Hermione asked. "Today's Dark Arts lessons had us practicing the Cruciatus Curse on first-years. I refused. Hogwarts has changed," Neville explains as we contuied to follow him.

"Let's have a bit of fun?" Neville says as he opens the portrait. "Hey listen up you lot. Brought you a surprise," Neville announced. 

"Not more of Aberforth's cooking, I hope. Be a surprise if we can digest it," Seamus sarcastically says. Neville moves away from me as I step upfront "Blimey," Seamus got up as everyone begins to clap.

Everyone came up to me giving me a hug "Okay, let's not kill him before you-know-who," Neville sarcastically says as everyone began to sit down. "What's the plan, Harry?" Neville curiously asked.

I took a brief moment to look around at everyone "Okay. There's something we need to find. Something is hidden here in the castle. And it may help us defeat you-know-who," I explain.

"Right. What is it?"Neville asked. "We don't know," I replied. "Where is it?" Neville asked again. "We don't know that either. I realize it's not much to go on," "That's nothing to go on," Seamus says.

"I think it has something to do with Ravenclaw. Um, it will be small, easily concealed. Anyone any ideas?" I curiously asked.

"Well, there's Rowena Ravenclaw's lost diadem," Luna suggests. "Oh, bloody hell. Here we go," Ron says. "Lost diadem of Ravenclaw. Hasn't anyone heard of it? it's quite famous," Luna says. 

"Yes but Luna it's been lost, for centuries now. There isn't a person alive today who's seen it," Cho explains. "Excuse me. Can someone tell me what a bloody diadem is?" Ron asked. 

"It's a sort of a crown. You know, a tiara," Cho tired to explain to Ron. "Wait has Y/N awaken?" I curiously asked. The last time I've seen her was in the Malfoy Manor. 

"No Snape stop allowing us visiting her. We all tried to see her but it's always guarded by death eaters," Seamus explains. 'Why is Snape keeping everybody away from Y/N?'

 We hear rumbling in the background. "Harry," Ginny appeared. "Hi there," I greeted Ginny. "Six months she hasn't seen me and it's like I'm Frankie first year. I'm her brother," Ron made a sarcastic remark.
