Bluescreen listens to the soft wind outside building and the groaning of the infected nearby. He wonders what it's like at the moment out there. But at the moment he was tied over with something else. The doctors. They never really talked to him much or even got that close to him. Nor did they actually take much care of him. Except one guy named Allen, he brought him food and stuff three times a day. It had been about 6 days in this room. He took notice of how old it looked in those days. And how surprisingly...clean it was even though they didn't clean I much at all. He actually didn't know how long he had been there, but he knew he wasn't there too long. Supposedly, they must have been smart enough to know the infected bite. And his wound was unknown to them probably. He has of course been quarantined and he knows it. 'I hate them. Even if they feed me and took me in. They don't even really help me much. Isn't that what a doctor is for?', he thought. Then he remembers how that soldier was taken down. Karma he guesses. Or at least He hopes it was, for him shooting someone who didn't even do anything. He sits up, being less dizzy. He didn't care about how much his side was hurting, he gets up off the bed and surprisingly finds his backpack in a corner and puts it on. Then he tries to open the door. It's locked, and the only other way out is the window. Judging from the light outside, it was nearly 3 o'clock. It was usually around 6 or 7 when the door opened, judging from the light. He sits against the door thinking. There was a possibility he could run past them, but there's about 6 of them so he's probably get caught. But then there was the window. It may be too tall for him to get up there by himself, but he could use the bed as a stool to try to get out. What if he fell though? He didn't know what was underneath, or how high the room really was. He didn't know if that was a risk he should plan to take, but he was willing g to maybe try to get past the door if he couldn't get out the window. Or...he hoped the infected would come. Then they might unlock the door and he could get past them while they were fighting the creatures. Even if they didn't unlock the door, he still has the window option. He doesn't really care much about how he would escape though, he just wants to get out. Just to get away from the people he didn't really know. He just wants to be free again. He hates this as much as he hated being locked in that house. And if not one of those, he hopes some infected comes in the room and kills him. He would rather die than be here. Stuck once again in a empty room. He decides he needs something, and starts to talk to the door. He doesn't care of they know he talks to things that can't. Maybe they may think he's crazy, and let him out. He wants them to let him out. A little bit of whispering is heard suddenly outside the door and Bluescreen moves out of the way before it opens. "Hello?", says one of the doctors. Just then suddenly he is dumbfounded by a blue blur and wind speeding past him. "The boy! Get him!", he yells as Bluescreen makes his way down the empty hallway. The other doctors follow as he realizes the man he ran past was Rex, the leader of the group. He remembers that Allen once told him that he was the leader, but now it wouldn't matter. He keeps running and goes down a flight of stairs. Guess the window was a bad idea to go out of after all. He quickly gets to the exit, knowing very well that there was no turning back now. What was done is done. He then opens the door and is met face to face with two infected. One seems a bit surprised to see him, and the other waves a bit with a sad expression. He looks back and sees a small sign on the window, realizing suddenly something he should have known. Those doctors work for the IZC. No wonder he was quarantined, they actually thought he was infected. But nevermind that now, he was faced with two undead. He looks at them for a split second, and one seems to open it's mouth to say something. But before he even let's the thing say or do anything he runs off again top speed. He didn't feel like taking any chances with the undead, not yet at least. Would it matter? He doesn't know. The zombies for some reason weren't chasing him, which was a good thing for him. He didn't wanna be chased, but something suddenly grabs his ankle and he nearly falls. But catches himself and stops. Then, he looks to see a crawler undead, "A-Aw....y-you poor t-thing...". It kinda just growls at him softly in response. Bluescreen looks around and sees a nearby store, then he looks at the zombie. "W-wait here.", he says before walking to the store and searching it a bit. He ends up finding more medical supplies, a few food items and some candy. Then he goes into the back and finds some meat which us surprisingly untouched. He picks it up and walks out of the store back for he crawler. He then proceeds to open the bag and put the meat on the ground. The zombie eats it and even though it's so close to him, it doesn't bother with grabbing for him. He sits in front of the zombie and watches it eat, not really feeling threatened by the zombie. After a few minutes, the zombie looks at him. Their eyes met and Bluescreen smiles. "H-Hi...can y-you u-understand me?", Bluescreen asks in his sweet tone. The zombie pushes itself up and looks at him, then lets out a small growl but it's not threatening. Bluescreen smiles more, "I'm B-Bluescreen.", he says. The zombie then crosses it's arms. Bluescreen scoots a little closer, "Would y-you l-like to c-come exploring with m-me?". Surprisingly, the zombie nods looking quite happy and crawls up onto him and into his backpack after unzipping it successfully. Bluescreen gets up a bit wobbly, but manages to stand. After he does so, the zombie inside hid backpack uses some bandages to wrap up his torso. They eventually make it to a house to rest. Bluescreen enters and walks to the couch, being quite tired from running. He puts the backpack on the couch and lays on it. "I-I'm just g-going t-to rest ok?", he says quietly. The zombie comes out and nods, wanting to explore the place. The small boy lays on the couch and eventually, unintentionally he falls asleep.
