Error stares straight at Riley as the gun fires, not even flinching before taking the gun right out of his hand. No blood, no bullet wound, "Did ya really think I'd f***ing let you have a loaded gun? I knew you would try to kill me, you dumba**. But I guess your stupid a** didn't think I was smart. I know you're a crazy b****, But you ain't gotta kill me cause ya are.". The hand that held the gun shakes, Riley just stares back, dead at him in surprise. "I honestly thought you were trustworthy, d*** it. After all those years and you pull this sh** on me? What the h*** is wrong with ya?", Error looks away and puts the gun in the bin with bullets, right under his own seat, "I'll let you have that back when ya calm your a** down.". As Error starts the truck up and drives it into town, Riley sits quietly in the passenger seat, looking down at his hands and thinking about what he did. Did he actually just do that? It didn't really matter now, he didn't really intend to actually shoot Error then and he doesn't intend to now. But the question is, where did the bullets go? He is sure to have put some in the gun before he went to sleep. Error must have taken them, he must have. It is questionable on how, without him noticing, but he somehow must have done it. He is kinda glad though, he really doesn't want to lose his friend over his anger. He is also thankful that Error is as smart as he is. It is a while on the road downtown before Error stops the truck once again, shutting it off. Riley's thoughts are interrupted now, he looks around before looking at the blue haired man, "What are you doing?". Error looks at him, kinda furiously. "If you're gonna travel with me, I gotta make sure your stupid a** won't try to f***ing kill me again. Cause if ya got the d*** guts to try and kill me, I know you gonna try ta kill my stupid a** son if we find the little b****.". Yet again like many times before, Riley rolls his eyes like he does when Error annoys him, "I would never shoot a little boy for one, and for two you know I have anger issues. You do too so I don't see why you're so worried about me. You get p***ed off all the time and Threaten people.". Error looks away angrily, "Ya stupid son of a b****!! I don't f***ing pull guns on people! Yeah I know I get p***ed off all the time and yell! And yeah I threaten people and sh** but I don't f***ing try ta do what I f***ing threaten! Like god d*** what the f***?! You've surely lost your god d*** mind, ya f***ing crazy b****!", "You always say that, Mr. Sailor mouth. I'm not a b**** and I'm not crazy.", "The f*** ya say?! Don't call me that, f***er! And f*** yes you're crazy. Crazy as h***!", "Shut up Error. You're just p***ed off.", "Yes I f***ing am Riley! So shut the h*** up!". The two men don't look at each other for a long while. It's actually almost pure silence, except the distant noise of the undead. Error decides it's time to maybe go, he turns the key and the truck starts up. He drives the truck to the nearest gas station and gets out. "I'm gonna fill up the tank. If you can, go inside and look for some supplies or some sh**.", Error spoke more calmly, "You can take a gun with ya if you want, just don't try anything stupid." Riley looks at him as the guy grabs out a gas can and fills it with some gasoline from the broken pump. For once, Error didn't cuss every other word. It was rare for him to be so calm in times such as this. Riley grabs a few bullets as he gets the gun from the bin, afterwards he loads it and gets out. This was the perfect time to do what needed to be done, "Hey Error...look man, I'm really sorry about what I did. I didn't think I'd let myself go that far. We're friends, and we shouldn't fight like that. And I shouldn't have done what I did.". The marine looks down, feeling quite dishonored by his actions. Error had been so nice to him all those years, even when he was mad. All the man wanted to do was find his son, and Riley felt maybe he was in the way of that. Maybe Error didn't need his help, and he was just dragging him along as he sometimes did. But then, his thoughts are once again interrupted. "Men fight, Riley. It's nothing new.", Error says as he hugs him, "You were in the marines ya should know that. All men fight.". Error just stays like that for a short while before letting go and looking at him, "I came out here to find my son. I didn't come out here to lose my friend. And I ain't losing you now. Not like I lost them.". The words he spoke, were as sincere as the look in his eyes. It's just so odd. No matter how mad he ever got, he always forgave him. Riley at this point is speechless, what the man says is absolutely true. Both their families are as good as gone, unless of course Bluescreen is still alive, which they both know there's a big possibility the boy is dead. Riley turns and gets into the drivers side, "We have a boy to find. Whether he be dead or alive, we will find him.". Error smiles a bit and puts the gas can in the truck bed before walking around the truck and hoping in the passenger side, "Let's get the h*** out of here then!", Error shouts out in some sort of glee. Riley starts the truck and it rushes down the road.
