Chapter 8

(Ok, I'm gonna start where I left off as I do normally but I think that I'm going to start updating on Saturdays and Sundays that's about it and in this chapter we may or may not meet Ban P.S. this is what I think I would look like I just got this pick off the internet and panted the eyes that's all.)

(Last chapter:  Meliodas grabs me by the waist pulling me into him drawing his sword at the man and says. "Don't You Dare Lay Your Hands On My Woman!!!" )

Nicole's pov

Ok, this is an interesting situation I think to myself with Meliodas's arm still around me. What ta do, what ta do. I go to move but Meliodas tightens his arm around my waist. "Wow, protective much" I whisper into his ear leaning into him, a few seconds later I can see a slight blush coming onto his face."Stop don't come near."  Meliodas says to the knights stepping back pulling me and the still sleeping baby closer to him "Easy there were not going to hurt you. " A knight with white hair and a leader attitude said.

(Several years later before we meet Ban and after Meliodas gave Elizabeth to the King so he can rase her.)

"Lady Nicole take some time off you have been working very hard that an order" King Bartra ordered "Yes your majesty," I say with the utmost boredom in my voice. "Good your dismissed" I do a little bow and walk out and as I'm walking down the hallway I get stopped by Meliodas and to avoid bumping into him I walk toward the left while he goes to the right but then as I'm about to pass him he stops and I backup but I only end up with my back to the wall and Meliodas in front of me "Hey, Nike (not like the shoe but like the goddess of victory Nike.)were are you headed?" "Out, I got a few days off," I said looking at him straight in the eyes"Really can i-" "No, no you cannot come with me" "But why I've finished everything and-"  Meliodas whines "Meliodas you still have to teach the young holy knights how to fight on the battlefield, then you have to watch Elizabeth." I start walking down the hallway as he's begging me to get him out of today's work I stop right by his room which I'm surprised he didn't notice he's been avoiding this place like a plage and I think I know why......paperwork I think ill give him a little false hope "Nike-----------, Nike----------please, I promise I won't bother you---------Nicole-----please let me come---" "Ya know what Meliodas fine you can come with me" "Really thanks Nicole you're the best I promise you won't regret this"  And now to crush it "But" "But"  Meliodas says with puppy dog eyes that would make any woman fawn over him, any woman except me "Yes you need to finish all your work and then you can come with me." "Oh that's it, ok ill start right now this will be easy,"  he says walking away, and now for the final blow as he's walking away I appear in front of him he gives a socked look I grab him by the collar and start to drag him towards his room. "Good, it's good that your so motivated to get your work done and since your so motivated you can start here," I say plopping him directly in front of his bedroom door and open the door only to see piles and piles of paperwork come gushing out I then turn to him and give a sharp icy cold glare that can and has killed before.

Meliodas pov

I am so screwed I think to myself as I feel the icy cold glare on me I hate to admit this but Nicole is one of the only women that has ever truly made me think twice before getting her angry. Wait what the hell am I thinking you should never get this woman angry and if you did it's like an 85% chance death so basically what I mean is she is one scary woman. She once had me convinced that she was death himself but she reassured me that it was a joke but I'm still not so sure...I slowly turn around to meet her stare "So I see you've got everything done," she says I chuckle a little and start to push all the work into my room and then quickly close the door so it doesn't fall out again. but that only seems to make her stare harden even more I sware she's looking into my soul "Uhmmm" I say trying not to get anymore in trouble than I already am "I can explain" she reaches down and takes off her slip-on shoe and holds it normally in here hand. Wait why did she take off her Whack!!! "Owwww" she quickly puts her shoe back on and grabs my collar again opens the door and throws me in the room papers scatter everywhere then she says in the most beautiful southern accent I've ever heard "Hun, your grounded and if you even want to take a step out of this room your going to clean and organize and finish your paperwork." "Y-yes ma'am right away ma'am," I say saluting her as she walks out of the room and closes the door. I let out a sigh of relief I'm lucky I only got away with a bump on my head. I let out another sigh as I sit down at my desk as I prop my head on my elbow "She's really a southern beauty"
