Lord Xavier is known as the smartest Lord. No one dare to challenge him. He knew every trick that his enemy planned. He knew everything. Rumors had said that Lord Xavier is a witch but it just remain silent.
Isabella does not know what to do. She was feeling lost. She started to cry and ran inside to the house and search for her mother but in vain. "Lord Xavier what are we going to do with her?" Naomi asked.
"Bring her back to the castle." Thats what Lord Xavier replied and walk into the house to find Isabella. "Little one, come here." Lord Xavier said.
"No, I want mummy." Isabella said while crying. Lord Xavier had no choice but hug her. "Come, just follow me home, we will find your mummy later." The last word had caught Bella's attention. "Really?" she asked while looking at the Lord with her watery eyes. Lord Xavier just nodded his head. "Lets go home, Little one." Lord Xavier said again.
'Home' Lord Xavier did not think he will said that as he take the castle as a work place. Finally, Isabella agree.
Naomi's eyes poke out after seeing how Lord Xavier treated Isabella with care. 'Since when Lord Xavier has soft spot for children in him?' Naomi thought but quickly shake her head when she saw Lord Xavier and Isabelle coming close.

In the castle
Isabella look around the castle. In her life, this is the biggest house that she had witness. Her expression had made Lord Xavier smile lightly as he found Isabella cute reaction when she look around the castle with her big eyes with her mouth wide open.
"Little one, lets go and check your room" Lord Xavier said to her. "Where is mummy?" she asked. Lord Xavier had no choice but to tell her that he is finding her mother. This time, she does not cry. This had made Lord Xavier relax a little bit as he doesn't know how to take care a crying little baby.
He felt a light pull on his hand. When he look down, he meets his eyes with Isabella. "Can you carry me?" Isabella ask him with an open arm. "Of course" without hesitation Lord Xavier carry Isabella.
Isabella doesn't know why she felt so comfortable when Lord Xavier carried her. With that, she fell asleep on his shoulder.
This had made all the maid in Lord Xavier's castle gasp. They knew that their master is a cold and heartless man. Lord Xavier does not give in easily to someone request. But here, he agreed with a little girl. Everyone in the castle was shocked except Naomi who already knew half of the puzzle.
What had Isabella done that made Lord Xavier give in so easily?
