CHAPTER 4

THE TOUR

The school bells finally alarmed, a sign that it's time for a lunch break. The only schedule that students like.

Dahyun and Chaeyoung ate lunch together like the usual, but Chaeyoung notice that her friend seems to be in a rush. "Whoa, slow down will you? Why are you in such a hurry?" Chaeyoung asked as Dahyun takes a last bite from her food.

"I have something important to do." Dahyun said as she stood up from her chair. "I gotta go now, I'll just see you later in class." Dahyun said, leaving Chaeyoung alone.

"What's her problem?" Chaeyoung was a bit startled when Namjoon suddenly popped out of nowhere.

"Yah! Don't just come at people like that, you scared me you idiot!" Chaeyoung shouted.

As always, Namjoon ignored all her loud cries at him. "Why were you late this morning? I'm pretty sure that I woke you up before I left our dorm, I thought you were already taking a shower." Chaeyoung said.

"Well yeah, but you see, after you left... I went back to bed again." He said and he received a hard smack on his head.

"You idiot! I even did an effort to wake you up just so you can be on time for class! Urgh! Why do I even bother waking you up?!" Chaeyoung said, her face all red because of anger, and Namjoon find it cute.

"You don't need to worry about it. You know me, I can always walk into class whenever I like. After all, I always get away with anything." He said with a smile on his lips.

Chaeyoung flinched when she felt his pinky finger curling around hers. "And you know, that I always get what I want." He added, in a serious tone.

Dahyun is in front of her class now. And inside, is Jimin, already waiting for her, she hopes. Dahyun heaved a sigh before putting a hand on the cold metal knob of their class door.

And in an instant, she felt her heart thump in another rapid speed. She close her eyes as she mentally calm herself.

'It's just a boy.'

'It's nothing to be excited about. Like him, he'll just deceive you.' She reminded herself.

She bravely open the door, revealing a figure of a boy, standing in front of the open window, looking out on the field outside.

Just as she steps in was the exact same time he turned around to face her. There it is again. That annoying feeling.

"Thank you for taking your time." Jimin said.

"No problem." She said, trying not to stutter.

The tour was awkward, at least just for her, Jimin was just cool, oblivious at what he was doing to the girl.

"So, this is the field?" Jimin asked.

"Yeah, this is where we run and play soccer. That over there is where you can play tennis. And in the gym is where you can play volleyball and basketball." Dahyun explained.

"Do we also have a pool here?" Jimin asked.

"Ah yeah, it's right this way." She said, pointing and heading to a certain direction.

"You seem really knowledgeable about our school."

"Not really, I mean after all I've been in here for 2 years now, of course I already know the corners of this school."

They both stopped once they reach the school pool. "It looks deep." Jimin said as he sits on the edge of the pool, looking down into the blue water.

Dahyun also sat beside him to join him. "Is it?" Dahyun stared down to the water, and then all of a sudden she felt dizzy and nauseous.

"I think we should get go---" A splashing sound made Jimin startled after he got up and turn around, ready to leave.

He immediately turn around only to find Dahyun already drowning in the pool.
